For working executives IIM ranchi has its own college screening & admission process. Consisting of written test ,interview and other screening processes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very effective for working executives. Covered almost every aspect of pgdm , has 40 papers ,labs in a span of 24 months.Has a subject named as research methodology which inhibits the prerequisites for modelling/research paper publication and the final major project has also a lot r&d work involved.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, mostly mnc's, mini ratna & nav ratna. Banking sector,manufacturing sector,average package of 7- 8 lacks for freshers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was 9 lacks for my course. Since being a govt institution has a very robust calendar comprising of various technical & cultural events planned at almost every 4 months.

Exam Structure

Starts from early morning to late evening.even classes some days on sundays, surprise text. Lab is effective & hand on practice for software like spss, xlminer, mini tab etc. Has mid term, end term, quiz and class participation and activities based marking also.

Faculty

Both residential & visiting faculties. Has a subject named as research methodology which inhibits the prerequisites for modelling/research paper publication and the final major project has also a lot r&d work involved. Faculties are very intellectual & helpful.

A decent college IIM ranchi

IIM Ranchi had a 99% placements record.. placement cells tried their best for placement... The highest salary package offered was 58 LPA, and the average package salary package offered was15 LPA. Maximum candidates were placed in the sales and marketing domain. Some of the reputed companies are Deloitte, Amazon,wipro,tcs, Flipkart, Unilever,amul etc.

Remarks:

The college premise was safe and with well-behaved people and students. The teachers and all the non-teaching staff were also helpful to us. I still remember when I was in my first year all my seniors were there to support me especially during exam time and this thing was good about this college.

To get admisson into IIM Ranchi, first you need to clear CAT with a decent score. Post that, you need to apply to various IIMs while filling the form for CAT. Total application form fee for CAT is around 2000. After the results are being announced, you need to prepare for your GD(Group Discussions) &PI(Personal Interview) which would be around Feb-March. After getting selected, you would be asked to pay a admission fees close to 1 lakhs for confirmation. Once the admission starts, you would be asked to pay the 1st Trimester Fee. IIM Ranchi, A place to be

The admission process was tiring. The process was simple as it was through CAP Calls so we didn't have to fill a serate form. the cut off for IIM Ranchi in 2023 was 92 percentile. There was no separate application form or application fee but we did have to check the results on IIM Ranchi website for the final Call after the interview process. MBA in Business Analytics is a newly introduced course by IIM Ranchi this year. Many applicants were sceptical while applying to this course.
