Vikram 's Review On Jharkhand Rai University - [JRU], Ranchi

JRU is now one of the best private university in Jharkhand. The college is very good in terms of education. But at my time the placement cell was not active enough to even recruit or place a single student of the batch.

For enrolling in Masters in Business Administration programme in JRU its necessary to clear entrance exam such as CMAT CAT etc. I cleared CMAT with 70% to enroll myself in thus course. Also one Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks 45% marks in case of reserved categories in the qualifying examination to enroll.

The Management Course consisted of total of 28 papers each of with total 4 credits and also includes Life Skill as a subject paper.

My college provided us with internships many good companies came but the internship was without any stipend Mahindra,SAIL,Usha Martin,Big Bazar etc are some companies where my classmates were interns. The internship program is a part of MBA course and must be 4 weeks minimum. This internship has to be completed within summer holidays and project has to be reported documenting all the learnings and experiences.

At that time in 2014 No companies came to place us neither the college bothered for the placement. Although now at present college consist of Placement cell.

All national festivals are celebrated Teacher's Day, Farewell party, fest, Annual, Fresher party etc some are department festivals some are intra college and some inter college Seminars, Workshops, Recreational Activities.

Semester fee 28,000 To be paid at admission 43,000 offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls students can avail facilities both in the form of dormitories and separate rooms.

50% scholarship to all girls students JRU provides all students with 50% scholarship e-kalyan scholarship programme Student can avail Jharkhand govt. scholarship easily. GGGS Genius/Gifted Girls scholarship scheme with 100% scholarship Merit based scholarship is also provided by the college.

JRU ians enjoy a good campus atmosphere with equity in the gender ratio almost. The students constitute a rich diversity. At the time being the college has students from abroad too such as Africa and Bangladesh. There is a little discrimination in the campus based on race and economic status of the students. Although college tries to equate the gap but some students are neglected based on the race and economic status.

Since mine was the first batch so we are having no experience still our batch tried to help our juniors providing them with help whenever required. We provided them with our notes experiences in the college question papers etc. May be the alumni network is not so strong as we are not contacted by any one after we passed out the college degree.

The faculty is very much experienced and well knowledgeable and generally recruited on the basis of standards set by UGC.
