Remarks

Indian Institute of Management is the best among all the IIMs in the second generation and has jumped several NIRF rankings lasting year proving how good it has been doing. I have no doubt in saying that the professors here are excellent. Listen to the class and you’d love every minute you spend in the class interacting with the faculty. I can personally vouch for that fact. And I’m sure there can’t be much of a difference in teaching in the other reputed private colleges as well.

IIM Ranchi provides you immense opportunities in extra-curricular activities. Be it a sport like cricket, football, volleyball, chess, badminton, table tennis or dance, music, drama or creative arts, IIM Ranchi provides you plethora of channels to showcase yourself through its various committees, clubs and self interest groups (SIGs).

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements.
