Likes

College campus is very large and wide range of knowledge to explore
very large Library library where students can study at minimal fees
Affordable college fees and a good system of scholarship

Dislikes

The college doesn't have good campus it make difficult for students to get job
It's location is in a remote area it's difficult for marketing
Need to make more buildings so that students can study calm

Course Curriculum Overview

Good amount of course curriculum, students can get vast amount of knowledge as we have compared with other college very good syllabus and practical are there students can learn much more and its very helpful for them

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It's one of the best college for students who want to study as teacher are very much supportive and a there is a huge library where students can easily study.One of the best thing is about scholarship that people get after admission they get good amount of scholarship so it's make it very much affordable,good education environment.

Campus Life

If any students want to play sports or any other cultural activities the university organises and help students to explore their talents and also enhance then so that they can easily get out of fear and feel free

Admission

Admission process is too much easy here just in 30 to 40 min procedure can be done ,but for reaching there we need to clear a exam either je-mains or D2D exam of jceceb after that they can take admission

Faculty

Faculty members are not good there are some teachers who are devoted to students and but some don't care about students but overall good teachers are more so students can easily study and get help from tecahers

Night Life

Hostel facility I haven't seen any students staying there but library is there where students can study very good facilities of Library and gym so there is good places for hangout like parks and a good pond

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
