Course Curriculum Overview

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two types of student First is a free seat which fees is approx 23000 per year And Another is the payment seat in which fees is 70000 per year. Every year Jharkhand government provide us with a scholarship in which they gave us 40% of fees as a scholarship whose name is EKLAYA.

Campus Life

Campus Life is Full of joy and happiness. They conduct a every year fresher party but due to corona, the fresher party is not conducted for the last three years. In the library, they have just course-related books not any other books like novels, stories, poems etc. In this college annual sports is the only event in which students participants for joy and support their branch. it is held every last week of December. There is only one group which is the emerging group which organised all the festivals and functions.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is average not too much. The menu is we also don't know just we eat for survivals The registration process is good and every student maintains the register and it is affordable. you can afford their hostel and register

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

First, you have to qualify in the entrance exam of jee main for the free seat. And the percentile you have to require to get admission to dumka engineering college is between 40-80% for a branch. You also get admission to Dumka engineering college from a payment seat but its cost is approx 35000 per semester and a total of eight semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for this college as i hadn't a good rank in Jee mains and it is kind of affordable for me .The admission process is very simple . You have to have a jee mains scorecard and you have to fill jceceb counselling and as per your jceceb rank you will get admission into this college. This college accepts jee main exam also. Through jcecb counseling. I cleared that counseling but I didn't have residential and caste certificate.so i have to come again through management quota.
