Admission:

A key factor was the setup for Marketing and distance as well. Among other new IIMs secured this was the most feasible. Admissions are taken basis CAT percentile and GD/PI. More on the same can be easily researched on Youtube.

The Campus life is very good and top notch just as other peer colleges. The campus is spread across a 60 acre square ft area.
Secondly , the faculty of the college are very well qualified.
Thirdly, the networking opportunities in the college are significant.

Dislikes

There are very limited opportunities for students with greater than 4 years of work-experience
The campus is located far from the main city of Ranchi. It usually takes 30 minutes to reach the city.
The transport facilities are also limited. Although we have a college bus, but it is available only on certain timings.

Admission:

The course is eligible and open to any students that apply through the application process of CAT- Common Admission Test. The cutoff usually varies from 95-98 percentile. The process starts during November and stretches up to the end of June. The exam occurs once a year and the difficulty level is moderate-high.

Admission:

To get admisson into IIM Ranchi, first you need to clear CAT with a decent score. Post that, you need to apply to various IIMs while filling the form for CAT. Total application form fee for CAT is around 2000. After the results are being announced, you need to prepare for your GD(Group Discussions) &PI(Personal Interview) which would be around Feb-March. After getting selected, you would be asked to pay a admission fees close to 1 lakhs for confirmation. Once the admission starts, you would be asked to pay the 1st Trimester Fee. The process was smooth for IIM Ranchi as I experienced a smooth process flow. I got my selection letter on the 1st round only, thereby ensured the whole admission process coordial.

I liked the campus of my college. It is a beautiful one with scenic views.
I like the faculties of my college who are all Phd scholars.
I like the course as it offers multiple areas of development and courses.

Dislikes

I disliked the number of subjects in a term. It should be lessened out.

Admission:

I was a Btech graduate and further worked for 2.5 years in IT sector. I gave my CAT exam and got 94.96 %ile. The exam wasa of moderate level and after that I sat for PI. It was a CAP PI, which has 9 to 10 IIMs. I was lucky enough to secure a seat in IIM Ranchi.

IIM Ranchi, A place to be

The college is located in a very quite place and the sky here is beautiful. All my stress is reuced just by stiiting on the lawn and playing with the dogs. yes, the campus is Animal friendly and the dogs are also friendly and vaccinated.
The diversity of students increased my peer learning and brings the best out of me.
the curriculum and students engagement programs makes sure no one day is same.

Dislikes

Long Hours of classes that happens when the classes are rescheduled.
since the college is on the outskirts of the city, there are not much happening places near the campus.
the night Canteen in campus is opened only till 3 AM which means if we are studding late night, we will have to make prior arrangement

Admission:

The admission process was tiring. The process was simple as it was through CAP Calls so we didn't have to fill a serate form. the cut off for IIM Ranchi in 2023 was 92 percentile. There was no separate application form or application fee but we did have to check the results on IIM Ranchi website for the final Call after the interview process. The website is user friendly and has good interface. The only problem I faced was while getting final mail regarding the admission but the glitch was resolved.

Trailblazing experience at IIM Ranchi

Likes

Well built campus with all the facilities including the hostels, library, classrooms, mess and reading rooms.
Student run clubs, committees, groups where one gets a fair chance to work in teams and be a part of organizing body, which provides a hands-on experience of managing events and networking with people.
Great career opportunities with reputed brands visiting the campus and guidance by expert faculties.

Dislikes

Sports facilities can be better but the institute is still in its phase 2 of construction, so better infrastructure will soon be available.

Admission:

In order to secure admission to IIMs, one has to write CAT, held once a year in November. Forms for CAT are out by August on official website of CAT.It is divided into 3 sections: Verbal ability, Data Interpretation, and quantitative aptitude. its imperative to secure a decent percentile ranging anywhere from 95-97+ percentile for the general category along with sectional cutoffs which can be checked for on the official websites of IIMs.However, overall as well as sectional cutoffs vary for different categories (generally lower for these categories as per the rules) (NC-OBC, Pwd, DAP, SC/ST) for different IIMs.Coming to the eligibility of MBA at IIM Ranchi, there are no hard and fast restrictions on basis of background. At minimum, any candidate from any background having an acceptable percentile will get a call from IIM Ranchi which is currently a part of CAP where common interviews are conducted for some IIMs(Feb-March), after which the results will be out after April end.

IIM Ranchi - The Journey with the twist of life

Placement is very good and transparent as compared to other peer IIM's
Hostel life is amazing and very charming with the proper facilities
Faculty is good along with teaching standard and international relations is upto the mark with legacy IIM's

Dislikes

Campus is far away from city, making difficult to travel to city
Administration involvement in student activity is high and thus causes hindrance and delay of tasks
Some courses need to be revamped and changed according to the market standards

Eligibility of course was Graduation and clearing cut off for CAT I found the application form from iimcat website. Application fees was INR2400. Exam date was 28-nov-2020 I availed EWS reservation and secured 90.42 percentile in CAT 2020 Later I got call from all CAP colleges and was able to convert all of them.

The selection process was very smooth for the candidates with regular updates from the college while also providing a Personal interview toolkit to help prepare the students. The communication regarding the admission process was also very smooth. The cut-offs are informed accordingly to have proper clarity.

IIM Ranchi Cutoff is 94 percentile for the general category candidates. IIM Ranchi admission 2024 follows a two-step process i.e Analytic Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI). However, IIMs do not release the CAT cutoffs in the public domain. The CAT 2023 result will be available on the official site of IIMCAT. Candidates can check the result & also download the scorecard using their ID & password.

Yes, the IIM Ranchi IPM application is open and the last date to apply is April 23, 2024. The IPM Cutoff for the General category is 187 while for the DAP category, the cutoff is 34. IPMAT 2024 registration is open and the last date to apply is April 01, 2024 and the IPMAT Exam will be conducted on May 23, 2024. The applicants will be shortlisted for PI, based on their IPMAT scores. The PI process will be conducted online. The final selection of the candidates and the merit list will be prepared based on the Aptitude Test Score, PI Score, and academic profile score.
