One of the best amongst the new IIMs in last decade

In short, a good academic institution with good faculties and appropriate course structure. Student council activities gives a platform for the student to indulge in all college activities.

CAT: 99.65I had option to join MDI, IMT G, IIM Ranchi and others. Amongst with my choice of IIM Ranchi was based on following factors:1. Its selection criteria. For General category the cut off was 99.65 which was the highest for any B school in that year. It ensures the quality of batch2. Support from IIM C as a mentor3. Good list of professors4. IIM tag

First year they had the fix course. From second year you may opt for electives. College provided us with ample electives under each stream. Most of the faculties for electives were from IIM C (mostly finance), IIM B (for strategy and marketing), XLRI (for HR and marketing), and others. Also had courses from industry personnels.

You may refer to its intern-ship report. 100% student got intern-ship from the college and all were paid intern-ship. International offers were also there.

Again, 100% student god placement from the college. The list of companies can be referred from the college placement report. Mix of best FMCG, Investment Banking, Corporate finance, sales, HR roles were offered by the company.

Lesser than other IIMs and private B schools. Additionally, easy loan process takes off your burden to arrange for the fees. People also used to get scholarship based on various parameters

Already mentioned above, the loan facility was smooth. Even the joining fees and first semester fees was taken care by bank. Scholarship structure was again fair.

No racial discrimination. Classes were good with better than expected technical requirements. Most activities were student driven ranging from hostel parties to mess facility.

Hostel was good with single rooms for each student. Additionally, access to Khelgaon was the added advantage for sports freak. Mess food as usual was not liked by most.

Good exposure in last 3-4 years. Students following up with the alumnis and bridging the gap. Active alumni group and regular activities for alumni makes it easy for students to interact with their seniors.

Hectic exam structure. Projects, quiz, mid term, final semester exams. Every activity was linked to your final score which gives you option to improve in case you could not perform well in one of the exams

One of the best as mentioned above. In house faculty were relatively less as it was the first batch. The good part was the mix of faculty and industry personnel taking the classes.
