IIM Ranchi is completely student run college compared to other tier-2 IIM's, with equal focus on academics and extra-curriculars. Here, you get freedom on what you choose. It has been carrying the legacy as the best new IIM since its inception. And I feel it is the best college in league of tier-2 IIMs as it has been performing better in every aspect from placements to organizing guest lectures and Events. There has been consistent improvement in NIRF ranking for IIM Ranchi even without having any permanent campus. IIM Ranchi is known to have students from different states and diverse background. This interaction with diverse group facilitates our peer learning. Coming to the facilities provided, IIM Ranchi has the best hostel with single sharing rooms and all the facilities which anyone can think of in a hostel. And, I personally feel IIM Ranchi is a brand which separates itself from other b-schools.

Course will be updated as per industry requirements. Every year there are new subjects which are being added into the course with changing trends in the industry. We have a case-based methodology in teaching which gives us exposure to the real time problems and how can we about in solving them. All the faculties are highly knowledgeable, and we can approach them at any point of time for doubt clarification.

IIM Ranchi has the best placements among the tier-2 IIMs. Placements are not skewed to any domain. Students are placed in all the domains equally. Average Package of 2018-2020 batch stands at 15.11 LPA and median is 14.85 LPA. IIM Ranchi fosters entrepreneurship. There are many famous startups headed by our alumni. Law Green, Kaer.in, Trip Thrill and Pashu Shala to name a few.

We have many fests and events organized all around the year. I can name a few like: AGON, RUSH etc. Each department have their own competitions and events which are held in these events. Also, there multiple SIGs and there is no dearth of activities. There so many guest lectures, competitions, activities that are being organized that it is really difficult to cover each and every event. Day's routine is filled with full of lively events and interactive sessions there is immense amount of knowledge that is being shared. They are specific SIG bodies for each skill that any person possesses. This body provides the platform to showcase their talents.
