Remarks
There were several factors, priority wise placements was the first factor & being in the top 20 institutes of country was real cheer to study here. Secondly, I choose PGDM program because of the course structure and I want to move out of professional field in which I pursued my UG. Most importantly its always a great opportunity to study in a institute where you get diversity and learn a lot more from your peers instead of just confining it to classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I more than satisfied with the courses and faculty teaching in the college. Most interesting and engaging part for guys like me (without work-ex) is the continuous orientation of lectures towards industry. Prof. Gaurav Marathe, Prof. Sankalpa, Prof. Nandy, Prof. N.S, these are some names. All of them teach with lots of energy and motivation, they really want students to learn rather than simply passing out the courses. The amount of efforts they put in teaching is amazing and so is the toughness of their exams, which are really typical and need lots of understanding.
Placement Experience
There are plethora of opportunities being provided by the placement team, it just depends on your caliber & potential how you can grab it. Roles offered ranges from Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Consulting(most sought after), HR. There is one thing unique about the college, that all of the batch respects the placement committee a lot because of the amount of efforts they put in to deliver the best. But there is always scope of improvement, on which they should work.
College Events
I found one interesting thing, in my institute students celebrate all type of festivals, doesn't matter it belongs to which part of country. Activities ranges from sports, management fests, cultural events, inter-section competitions etc.
