Likes

The campus is quite calm and greenary and the security also too good for girls especially and the campus is totally smoking free.
The faculty of our department is very cooperative and helpful and they guide as much they possible and the laboratory also improve day by day.
The infrastructure is good and also improve day by day.

Dislikes

There is no central auditorium and sports complex.
The placement cell is too weak may be in future they will improve.
The canteen facility is weak hope in future they will improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good from other colleges but there is lack of laboratory activities and field work but the qualification of the faculties and their cooperation is very good.May be in future the setup and equipment of the laboratory improve day by day.

The campus provides fine quality in hand experience with media houses and provide the best quality of study and faculty members are friendly. It also provides Placements and jobs interships for students

Dislikes

Fees is bit high except everything is good

Placement Experience:

from the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Netflix, Hoichoi, Disney, ABP Ananda, Aaj Tak, Zee etc visits here and offers job roles to students. 14lakh PA was the higghest package offered here. 90% of the students get placement from the college. My plan after getting the degree is to apply for Media jobs

Likes

I like the environment inside the campus which is beautiful. Infrastructure is very nice hair specially the Biotech building and the central library.

Dislikes

I didn't like the environment outside the campus as its situated on the Highway and there is no any market outside the college so you have to go to Kalyani and buy things from there.

Placement Experience:

From 6 to 7 semester students get placements in the campus . There is no much companies coming in this years. The highest package goes for around 8 lakhs and the lowest one goes for around 2 to 3 lakhs. Most of the student preferred to go for of campus placement and my plan after getting the degree is to go for highest studies

An experience of my university life in Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology

Likes

I like the campus like its very peaceful and ragging free.
I like the Professors they really help us a lot
The overall semester system of subjects and our examination the syllabus those are really very systemic and nice.

Dislikes

Laboratories equipment should get some modified though it's already very good still some chemicals reagents those need to be available
The portal of our student should get some better because sometimes we face problem during payments

Placement Experience:

In case of BSc there is no such placement offered by our university but we have a 3 months dissertation project in our last semester that is in the 6th semester. In other departments like IT and others they get some placement.

Likes

The University admission system which is student friendly with favourable subjects.
Fees structure is totally fine, students coming from different places & families can think for it.
The classes are totally good providing greater knowledge.

Dislikes

The placement cell should be improved, so that students could get more job opportunities.
Paid & non paid intership or workshops should be suggested more for students betterment.
Timming of the lab classes can be given more so that we can work or Learn more on it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall it's good faculty, Classes and overall experience. I choose this course as because I always wanted to go in a Biological field. And moreover the field is ideal for those who want to go for further research work. The professors are also helpful and students friendly. The exam's (semesters) are conducted between 6months gap.we get a ideal time to study during that time including our lab works.

Placement from college is very needful and they provide well and good placement for students.. many companies like : Wipro , Microsoft , Infosys ,etc are hired for placements for students from different parts of the fields . Each and every placement packages rates upto 9lacs . For placements we need about 8-9 cgpa . For a better job

Course has 6 semesters and each semester has 5,6,7 or 8 subjects with computer science also. I choose this course for job oriented future prospects. Faculty members of my department are very much educated and provide us a huge knowledge about this entire course. They are also very punctual.

Anti Ragging College campus. No ragging is allowed.
Infrastructure of the college in very beautiful and modern. They have gym facility.
Food is yummy. They have 3 cafes, 1 canteen. The cafe foods were made by students of hotel management.

Dislikes

There is no written rules. Only rules are spoken, not written anywhere.
Culture of the college. There is no proper culture.

Placement Experience:

From the fifth to sixth semester students are eligible to do internships and get placements. For sixth-semester students, it is compulsory to take an intership as it is part of the assignment and we get marks for it. Almost 70-80 percent of students get their placement from college.

The course/syllabus of this course is not designed that well by our university (MAKAUT) cuz there are no practicals, only theory and data science without practical knowledge is useless. I chose this course cuz data science has a very bright future ahead and I also like the combination of maths and computers. Most of the Faculty members are very friendly and helpful and are well-qualified to teach the subject
