Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is absolutely very good other than normal state government colleges as it is an technological universities with our main subjects we get to learn other useful subjects which are beneficial for getting a job. I chose this course because Biotechnology itself is a very versatile subjects we get lots opportunities like in the field of Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Forensic Science and many others. I can continue my future in both research field and industrial field by opting Biotechnology. The faculty members of our universities including our professors and others staffs they are really very helpful. We get smart classes good laboratory classes with modified instruments. The things taught in our classes are easy to take and we do not need any other substances other than that. The exams questions are standard if a student follow the classes and read according to that obviously they can score a standard marks.
Internships Opportunities
Nothing such internship are provided from the university.But a student can find it by themselves or by some sources.Sometimes faculty do provide some.University's placement cell should be more concerned about this topic.
Placement Experience
In case of BSc there is no such placement offered by our university but we have a 3 months dissertation project in our last semester that is in the 6th semester. In other departments like IT and others they get some placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fees structure is Semester wise. In the odd semester we need to pay 21000 and the exam fees of 1200 and in the even sem it is 20000 including the exam fees and the mode of payment is through online in our offcial student website of MAKAUT. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is available for the student according to family income criteria.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. Our friends are too very nice. We can say it's a ragging free campus and also there is no such politics in our University which is the best thing. We have our annual or our tech fest in between the month of September to November and it is named as Aneshwan which had different competitions and including stage programmes. We have good availability books in our library but all of them are only study related there is no other stories or novel types books. The classrooms are well managed and well decorated. Yearly we had our University sports and tournaments of football cricket kabadi and etc conducted by our University.
Admission
The admission was done via MAKAUT CET exam. The eligibility of the course is 12th qualified in Science stream. The application form is available in MAKAUT's own official website and The entrance exam is conducted in the month of July-August. The exam is taken in online mode and the questions were in Multiple choice types under computer automated invigilator surveillance if any malfunctioning occurs by the examiner the exam can also get canceled. Overall all the admission process occurs very systematically we need to fill up the application form with 200 rupees and then we get an admit to give that CET exam. After the examination students get selected according to the cut off and if the students are qualified then a mail will be coming to the student with a rank card and then they can continue with the last admission process.
