Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is relevant and well structure. It includes theory an practical subject which help in building strong basics it is useful for higher studies and future career . Some improvement are needed in adding more skil based course and internship. Teaching methods can be more interactive. The course follow a semester system and exam are of moderate difficulty

Calcutta university provide limited direct internship opportunity but student are encouraged to apply through external platform and personal network. Many student do internship NGO and private companies as research intern lab assistant or content intern . The admission process is mostly online and simple. Merit base admission is follow. I paid around ?7000 during admission. Apart from this examination fees and practical fees are charged separately. The semester fee is approximately ?3505, which is quite reasonable.

Campus life at calcutta university is good and peaceful. The university and affiliate college organize cultural program and annual festival usually held in winter months. The library has a good collection of books and journal which are easily accessible to student. Classroom have basic facility and some are equipped with projectors. Sports and extracurricular activities like cultural clubs Ncc and NSS are available. Studies clubs and society help to improving confidence and overall personality.

I choose calcutta university because of its strong reputation affordable fees and quality education. I also applied to a few other college vut i preferred calcutta university due to its academic standard and wide recognition. Admission is mainly merit based the process is online and simple. Eligibility is based on class 12 marks. The overall admission experience was smooth and well organized
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good and most teacher are helpful and approachable. I like the teacher who teach core subject because they focus on basics and provide notes. Some teacher are less interactive but they are knowledgeable. The course follow a semester system with internal exams practical and final exam. Student who study regularly can pass easily.
Night Life
Nightlife around calcutta university is decent and mostly calm. Inside the campus library cafeteria and other facilities usually close by evening. Hostel have fixed entry timing and proper security. Student usually spend evening in nearby cafes tea stall and public areas with friends. Some popular hangout spots are local cafes and markets near the campus. The surrounding areas are generally safe but student prefer to return to hostel or homes before the night.
