The faculty members are highly knowledgeable.
The course is really affordable and gives back value of investment in respect to the education provided.
The laboratory equipments are advanced and accurately measures.

Dislikes

The campus could've had better infrastructure.
Sometimes the classrooms are not sanitized properly leading to hygiene issues.
No proper time table is provided to us describing class details.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course for it's wide range of future scope . This course helps me learn about various human and insect related terms which keeps me updated about my interests. I've particularly chosen this college for it's faculty members and the way it provides us with best level of guidance.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1508 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 1508/- per year and general category students have to pay 2008/- per year. The union fees is 300/- per year , sports fee is 100/- per year , miscellaneous fee is 300/- per semester, id card fee is 100/- at the time of admission, health and management fee is 100/- each each year.

Campus Life

The student council is really active and makes sure to work for the student's betterment. Every year annual sports day is held where we take part in various sport activities, national cadet corps also take part as a segment of the commemoration.

Admission

I did not opt for any other college as i was very sure of my choice . I was selected in barasat government college because of my merit and I've been selected online through the wbcap portal organised by the west Bengal government.

Faculty

The faculties here are highly knowledgeable and recommendable . They hold phd degrees which makes them provide us with best suggestions to excel our projects. They never refuse to help , even the supporting staff members are really kind enough to help us without making us feel low.

Night Life

Our college provides with quality cafeterias . We also have a cheap store where we can get stationary items at a discounted rate.the campus timings are from 11 am to 5 pm and it's safe to roam around at night as the college is situated just opposite to a police station

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and well structure. It includes theory an practical subject which help in building strong basics it is useful for higher studies and future career . The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.
