My college provide other course for clearing government exams and it also prepares students for government exam interviews w
My college also gives opportunities to students to participates in other activities except academics like painting competitions
My college contains many highly educated teachers who are very helpful and supportive

In my college exams are held very lately. Also students have to get updates about exams in the websites, information are not provided by teachers
There are no proper guidance to contact to teachers when needed, students by themselves have to solve their problems by own many times
No students are allowed to use library or to enter the college during semester examination

From semester 6 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS , cognizant, Wipro visites our college and no. Of offer depends upon the no. Of students applying for it which depends on marks of students who got good marks every semester. Highest package offered is 500000 lpa and minimum is 200000 lpa.

Companies like TCS, cognizant and Wipro offers internship as freshers in their company and the stipend is like 10000 per month . Project like about the company minor and major projects as mentioned by the companies. As I'm 4th semester student don't have that much idea about the projects offered by the companies but as heard I've mentioned

Scholarships and Financial Support

There is no increase in tuition fees of our college it's constant for all courses every year. My total cost of education is approx 17000 per year with very minimal service fees , compulsory charges and other facilities. Overall it is approx 17000 per year so it's very minimal. There are two types of scholarships as I have heard one is merit based named swami vivekananda scholarship which gives 12000 to non technical and 18000 to non technical course each year and one is oasis which is for other reserved categorise provided by government of west bengal. I have the responsibility of cultural activities and event organiser in my campus

Admission Process and Course Details

My course is a bachelor of commerce general course and eligibility is 12th pass from any field maths not compulsory and minimum 45% marks in twelfth. The application form is provided in our college website and the application fees is the 1st semester fees no other fees is taken and the form fillup starts from the month of June and goes on until seats are not full. There is no reservation benefits. There are two exams each year one internal and one semester and difficulty level is moderate. Our admission process in wholly in online mode so you can do it from your house and it is very appropriate no need for improvement

Campus Events, Facilities, and Extracurricular Activities

Festivals like Saraswati Puja holi book fair rabindranath tagore jayanti, independence day are held according to the month they fall according to the calendar. There are a huge range of books and journals and biographies are available in our library which are very easily accessible by contacting to our librarians. Our college provides digital board with projector and high quality desk and air conditioners also microphone for professors. There are numerous of extracurricular activities offered on our campus many kind of games like kabbadi, cricket, hand ball and many more. Our college union runs the official group of our college in social media pages and we have our clubs inside college also councelling cell which helps students solving their dilemma

Student views on the faculty and exams

Faculty to student ratio is 40-50. There are many teachers like for 1 subject there are minimum 5 teachers and each of them are helpful and supportive they always help us when we approach them as needed. Great teaching experience of mine with them. There approach to teaching and mentorship is very time effective and they focus on every ascept of exams like which question of which marks of question and also clears the basics are required by the student. I can interact with teachers mostly at college and as for there work they are not available 24*7 but they always try to solve our problems at homes at theit free time. There approach ability is very good towards us.

Relevance of Course and Academic Preparedness

My future job and aspects influenced me to choose this course. This course prepares me very well for real world applications or further academic pursuits as it provides me many informations which I can match with my future job preparations. Provided me many useful information about various disciplines and different subjects . No. Of practicals are less which I think can be improved like working in computer which are very important in today's world. Exams are taken twice a year and internal and semester and timing are mostly on second half also the difficulty level is moderate for students who gives a very little effort on studies with concentration. It's not very hard very good questions are given in exams

I had applied to chandanagar goverment college i got confoirmed for only Barrackpore rastraguru surendranath college i choose this college over others beacuse i was only selected for this college i had applied for only two Yes i got rejected from chandannagar goverment college i was not in the merit list may be because of cutoff of 70% The Admission procces is first go on college website and register and after registration merit out amd tou get selcted cutoff is 60% the overall admission procces was easy

I chose this college mainly because of the distance from my home. I had the percentage of marks to go into any other decent college. But i mainly chose this one in order to prepare myself well for exams closely from my home as it would not weary me out at the end of the day

College has its own playground which is suitable for hosting many sports event
College has two seminar halls most of the cultural program happens here
The college campus is very nice we can find greenery all around

The behaviour of the senior football player in our college football team

Likelihood inside Rastraguru Surendranath college.

The teaching faculty is very well equipped about how to uplift the students. Besides classroom teaching we need to do practical activities like presentation making, social campaigns, representing our college in completions etc.
The college life in our college is very good. Teachers and my mates are very cooperative and understanding. The seniors help the juniors in need.

Admission:

Actually I have not applied for any other colleges except this one as it is near as compared to other colleges and after listening to a few passed out students I am well aware about their placements and opportunities. The addmission in our college is based on merit score that is the score you got in your 12th exam. After all students have done their application the college prepare a merit list based on your score and the admission takes place according. My admission experience is great as it doesn't have any complex process for admission.

Admission:

I choose barrackpore rastuguru surendranath college because the college is considered to be one of the best colleges in the north 24 parganas however the college infrastructure teachers seniors campus library everything is really nice. However i earlier applied for rishi bankim Chandra college where the biggest lesson I got was the students who were very abusive the environment there is very destructive there are hardly few classes and the food quality is nil . The admission procedure of my college is very nice u have to pay 0 rupees for registration however u have to fill a form where u need to mention all the necessary details and after selection there would be a merit list where u need to sign and pay the admission fee .

BRSNC A COMPLETE PACKAGE OF STUDY AND ENJOYMENT

Campus is located in a wonderful and peaceful place and the infrastructure is also good and the also take students to different industries for practical visits

Dislikes

The canteen area of the college can be developed more
There is not specific thing which you may not like sbout this college

Admission:

I prefer this college as its one of the best college and the distance of the college is quite near to my house And the microbiology is not present in all the colleges so I have not applied on many colleges and i am happy with my decision after taking admission to this college No i don't get any rejection from other colleges i choose ot by myself and their is no specific exam to this college the admission is done on a merit base score of the class 12 result or percentage marks

Campus of this college is very grand and having positive environment

Dislikes

Attendance is the main issue here , they don't even consider

Admission:

There is no increment of fees in the middle of the course but you can face an increment in you hostel fees . You get some caste based scholarships also merit scholarships is there . So I took intership through this college.

You can submit the completely filled form online by paying INR 200 for UG courses and INR 250 for PG courses. For offline admission, payment of Challan/ Receipt for ‘application form fee’ for INR 200 for UG Programmes and INR 250 for PG Programmes
