All about Barasat Government College

Likes

It's peaceful environment for studying it's provided by the college which helped the students very much.
The faculty members are very much helpful to the students. They gives them all the study materials.
As it's a government aided college the fees was very much less than any other of the colleges.

Dislikes

Nothing to be disliked. All the things are perfect and very much helpful to the students.
All things are really very much perfect. There is nothing to be disliked.
This college has everything perfect. Everything is very good.

BA general course is very much important to have every type of knowledge. The subject structures and the question structure was very much easier to understand. Also it was very much knowledgeable. Everything is perfect

Likes

The library is good. There are are lots of books provided from library and you can study there too. Even you can access computer.
They provided laboratories. Which is very helpful especially for science students.

Dislikes

The canteen foods are not good. Even the foods are not hygienic
The playground are too small for playing football and cricket like games

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually I am a partial dropper. And around my surroundings it is the good college in my opinion that's why I got admission in this college. And here provides a good nature for studying like other colleges. In this college's lecture hall and all classroom provides white board and projectors for learning. And the paper difficulty level is decent.

A Comprehensive Look at BARASAT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE: Strong Academics and Vibrant Campus Life.

Likes

The campus is well maintained and is very big.
The library has huge collection & it has computers for students to use.
There is high speed Wi-Fi coverage all over the campus.

Dislikes

Canteen is not hygienic & is bit overpriced.
Labs has old equipments and an old structure.
College fests are not good compared to other local collges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to take a drop year for JEE but wanted to have an second option so I chose this easy course. Many students pursue UPSC, B.TECH after doing B.SC. The course curriculum needs to have practical applications. Major semester exams are held once every 6 months. And test exams are held 1 month before major semester examinations. Exams are pretty decent in difficulty. I would say exam difficulty is well justified.

The faculty members are highly knowledgeable.
The course is really affordable and gives back value of investment in respect to the education provided.
The laboratory equipments are advanced and accurately measures.

Dislikes

The campus could've had better infrastructure.
Sometimes the classrooms are not sanitized properly leading to hygiene issues.
No proper time table is provided to us describing class details.

The best college Barasat Government College

Likes

I really liked the study aspect of the college, especially the use of the teachers impressed me, honestly I am very lucky to study in this college.
Me and my course mates love to read books together in the college library and have a little chat with him.
Everyone in the college likes to capture the moments in the campus, chatting in the canteen, participating in the seminar, besides honoring the teachers etc.

Dislikes

Clean inside the college but it would be better if the college authorities take measures to clean the party outside the college.
It would be good if the college authorities can arrange some seating for the family members accompanying the students to the college.
Apart from the above two reasons I didn't notice or realize the downsides of college

I got admission in Barasat Govt College for B.Sc course after class 12, because Everyone in my family says to go to Barasat Govt College because the studies are very good there and the teachers are good with the students, taking exams, giving homework,In the government, they perform responsibilities such as punishing wrongdoing and even explaining if there is a problem in education

Teachers are there in my college r very supportive
The management system to take admission and other things are very good.
The environment of college according to me is fair

Dislikes

Most hated thing is the student union of the college
The college cantine is not soo fair and it's not available everytime
We are not getting so much facelities after all.

As my point of view the course I choose and is very good and we get many opportunities by completing this course. And there is many curriculum activities with my course. Just like NCC, sports and computer training that was completely provided by the college.
