The faculty-to-students ratio is good. Even I think the faculty are more than the students at ratio. And the all teachers are too helpful. They always assist us. A Comprehensive Look at BARASAT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE: Strong Academics and Vibrant Campus Life.

Faculty:

Faculty-to-student ratio is good. There are 90 students in my department and first semester faculty count is 4. Faculties have well behaviour. They solves doubt with no other question asked. Chemistry faculties are so good. But some of physics faculties seem to be taking pity on us. There are 2 exams every semester one internal and one external. Exams are pretty easy and most of the students pass the exams.

I really liked the study aspect of the college, especially the use of the teachers impressed me, honestly I am very lucky to study in this college.
Me and my course mates love to read books together in the college library and have a little chat with him.

My contribution as well as that of our college teachers - First of all, their good behavior, taking classes every day according to routine, taking tests, giving homework, correcting mistakes, Answering questions when asked, punishing wrongdoers etc. is why my college teachers like me so much.

Faculty members of our college is not so good. But the teachers and the classes systems are well maintained. Fees structure and other things are good according to me. Great college atmosphere, even better teaching staffs

Faculty:

As this is a govt college you don't need to think about the faculty. You will get the best teachers guiding you throughout your course. In our department aka Physics Hons, there were atleast 10 faculty for 60 students. Huge class rooms with 5-6 practical labs.
