Fees and Financial Aid
I am currently doing bsc biotechnology from swami vivekananda university. The total course fee is 2,95,000 rupees that is 30000 rupees for each semester, at the time of addmission we have to pay 85000 rupees that is 55000 for addmission and 30000 for 1st semester fees we also have to pay regestration fee of 4000 rupees at the time of regestration,out of all 1000 rupees is also neccessary for exam fees for each semester that is 8000 rupees for each semester exam.Talking about another course which is btech cse which my one of the friend is also opting ,the total course fee of this course is 3,20,000 rupees that is 35000 for each semester for this course we have to pay 95000 rupees at the time of addmission , regestration fees and exam fees is same like the earlier one.the university also offers the swami vivekananda merit cum means SVMCM scholarship. The west bengal state government provides this scholarship. The scholarship amount is depend on the course. for madhyamik passed students the scholarship amount is 6000 rupees.
Campus Life
the overall experience is good the college oraganize most of the festivals like prak sharodiya,freshers party,winter fest,the college also have the department of sports which includes football teams cricket teams etc
Hostel Facilities
honestly saying hostel facilities is not good enough as the hostel is located outside the college campus . there are four beds place in a one single room so there is not enough space inside the room , ther is no washroom located in every room so whole one flat students has to use same washrooms however two washrooms are located in one flat and also there is no AC facilities
Admission
i find this college on collegedekho.com,as per my financial budget this college fits and this college was not so far than my homeplace also this college was offering the course which i want to persue so i opt this college
Faculty
The faculty is very approachable they answer every question of the students,as the local language of the location is bengali so most of the faculty speaks in bengali but its not that they could not speak hindi or english but we have to say them that mam or sir i could not able to understand the language so could you please communicate in hindi or in english..
Night Life
the nightview of the college is very beautiful with full of lights and beautifull scenario. The college offers gym cafeterias library .the hostel mess located inside the college campus , i personally stay in hostel when me and my friends enter the college campus at night for dinner the view of the campus looks very brightfull and great.
