A good university if you work hard

Talking about my curriculum in this course in our university is little bit confusing cause we have two internals per semester and also other exams such as lab exams , practical in labs , live problem solving exams etc Although our all exams are always based upon the syllabus which have been completed during the classes only , no other questions or problems are given to solve in the exams . We also have training session where we gain skills for real life problems and trained to solve the real life problems along with industrial and market level training . And each training classes have extra exams and extra marks that are not added to the university marks but we got an industrial based certificate that we can show in our CVs this is the best thing I liked that we get a industrial based certificate by completing a course inside the university.

I would like to say I don't have any experience about the internship provided by the college , but I've heard from the seniors about their project and intership opportunities and experiences . So like the management scholars get easily internships at their 2nd year of their college but they are most of unpaid and are given to them to learn and get some experience about their work . But they got real-time paid internships in their 3rd year , they got like 10000 rupees per month as their stipend for 3 months as a intern and if somebody does a good work in their companies they are hired by the companies there selves , There for our college provide a gread intership program to the management scholars . Talking about my degree, our seniors got some paid internships in the TCS , Wipro and Mahindra tech for 3 months and paid around 20000 rupees per month but the opportunity provided to the number of students are very less . So hoping better for my future so that I can get a paid internship.

Currently I'm studying at 5th semester of BTech COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING and the percentage of the placement is around 60% cause our seniors had just completed their last year and had got placed in companies like TCS Wipro , Mahindra etc. their average package is around 4.2LPA and the highest package is around 24 LPA , the senior who got 24 LPA job has been shifted to Bangalore for the job . To me I really don't know so much about the placement of my university but my teachers or faculty members tells us that we are eligible for the placement when we are in the 6th semester , so when we will appearing the 6th semester then only we will be more aware about the internship and placement programs .

My course fees in B.TECH COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING is 56000 Rupees per year and grand total around 247000 it is a fixed amount to pay , but year by year the fees structure increases . I Stay in University hostel and the fees for the hostel is around 39000 per semester and yearly around 78000 rupees, and it's also increases per year . We have to pay some Extra fees like registration fees which is around 2000 rs , only one time payment but we have to pay 500 rs per semester exam for filling up examination forms , and there are no extra fees to pay for anything else . Beside these all in BTech COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING branch we get a sum of 60000 rupees per year as Scholarship which is a good amount to pay for our semester payment it is very helpful and each and every student can apply for these .

My experience of the campus infrastructure is most delightful experience ever cause we are provided with all the necessities that are required for studies like computer labs , physics lab , chemistry labs , library and many more . Talking about the library we have a whole full three floor building with two floors full of books and one floor for study peacefully our favourite subjects . We need to borrow a library card to enter the library and read although these all are cost free , so we don't need to pay for any books or entering the library. Our college does not have any kind of involvement in the clubs and social involvements it is free of political involvements like other colleges do . We all have friends group in WhatsApp to communicate and spread any news over the university. Talking about the my overall experience with SVU is good , as a fifth semester student , I've enjoyed my days peacefully here , made a couple of friends hence I love SVU .

So I stay in hostel more than 2 years and still continuing it till my completion of my degree. And the fees of the hostel are like 39000 rupees per semester it is quite affordable .So I will give the genuine opinion for my hostel . So we have 2 boys hostel and 3 girls hostels . So we have rooms where we stay 4 peoples per room . And in girls they stay like 3 persons per room . So discussing about the size of the room first , it is quite tiny cause we don't get enough space to roam or to keep any extra selves or anything , we have like a 1 meter gap per bed which is discomforting for me .Now talking about the hostel food ,they provide us 4 meals a day - Breakfast , lunch , supper and dinner , we have food items like non veg everyday and also have various food items for vegetarians too . The food is good for a short term . Cause eating the same food over a period of time makes it boring and it's tastes gets worst day by day , so the food is very very bad .

First of all the why I chose this college over another colleges because I had not applied for any other college , I have tried to get admission in Aligarh University, but I'm unable to join that university because of their entrance exam which is very tough to clear and also a language problem that is You need to fluently speak Urdu to clear the entrance exam , that's why I'm unable to enroll that university so I have join this university on the based of it's infrastructure and less fees for the admission than the other engineering Universities .To join this university I had just filled up a form to get admitted to this university, there is no entrance exam to get admission . I have paid around 10000 rupees for the admission fees upfront and later after my admission I have to paid about 33000 rupees as admission charge and 28000 rs as my first semester payment . And this the process to get admission in my university.

We have a large numbers of faculty members for different streams in our university. And to me our faculty members are very good , some are good like SSG sir , songita mam , susmita mam they are well behaved and very kind and also very helpful, they always try to solve our problems whenever we approach to them and also they monitor us , by asking the reason for our absent in the class , and also they teach very good , they are literally a dream teacher of every student , where as there are also some teachers like Trina mam , Pradip sahoo sir , Avik sir , their behaviour is truely worst they don't even treat us as students, I have remembered a incident with Pradip sahoo sir , Once I asked him a problem which I'm unable to understand, then he said Like " You can't even understand this simple thing " and also he treat me as a fool , from that time I had never asked him any questions regarding my academic problems in his subject .
