A brief description about Bechalor of Optometry in Swami Vivekanand University

*Faculty is extremely good and also there are too many courses base instruments from where we can learn a lot. *We learn a lot from practical base study *University should open opd for all so that the no of patients could increase *The frequency and timings of exam is too fast *

*Different companies and hospitals offered here for internship *Fortis,Narayana,Appollo,Disha eye hospital etc *Project like mri, x ray, eye treatment,eye care, Radiology,etc. *Most of the time student get job after internship

*Placement is much better than other colleges *Student become eligible from 3rd yr means 6th semester. Lenskart, Himalaya,GKB opticals,zeisis offer job and also *many hospitals like Sanhya Netralya, disha eye hospital and many more. *Student above 75% is must got placement *I am planning to go abroad fro doctor of optometry

There are total eight semester in four year course in Bechalor of Optometry. Admission fees 60000 to be pain one time After that Per semester fees is 35000 If you are from other than General caste you can get upto 60000 scholarship per year And for general category You can get upto 18000 scholarship per year For the hostel You have to pay 6000 per month including two time meal and wifi

*There are so many fest conduct here in a annum like freshers, Farewell, Agomoni programe,annual cultural meetup *We have two library including digital library. There are a huge collection of book. *Modern technology are use here like digital smart board,wifi facilities *Sports tournament are organized in every year *Different type of programe orgnize here like dengue awareness camp,eye check up camp

I choose this college for many reason such that >This college is approved by ugc and aicte >Fee structure is much better >College location is good > Faculty qualification and quality is very appreciated * I applied for Vidyasagar College of optometry,Adamas,Neotia....I choose SVU over this college is because fee structure *No I am not rejected from any colleges. I am going in every college but the ambience of this college is very pleasurable *Candidate must passed 10+2 from e reputated Board. And must have 60% marks with PCB combination for Optometry. A viva taken here ....as long I know from 2025 a exam conduct for admission by Optometry association

* We have about 180 students in total department and there are total 7 teachers in our faculty. The relation between teachers and students is really very good *We like Dr. Manas Chakraborty very much. He is like full of knowledge and very close to every student *Actually I like every faculty nd the relation with me is very good so there no question to dislike *There are total three exam in one semester two internal and one semester.
