Established in 1926, Prabhat Kumar College is one of the oldest colleges in India. It has been recently re-accredited in 2014 by Nationals Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) of University Grants Commission (UGC). This college is located in Midnapore, West Bengal.

Prabhat Kumar College Admissions 2024

The admission procedure is as per the guidelines of the college/university. The students must clear the entrance exam & have to be in the merit list in order to make their admission smoothly.

How to Apply?

The candidate has to visit the official website of the college & has to download the application form.
The candidate has to fill up the form with the correct information and required documents.
At the time of submission of application form, the candidate has to pay the required amount to the college as application fee, without which, the application will not be considered.

To get admission into any UGC program offered by the college, the candidate must have cleared 10+2 from recognized board, & to get admission into any PG program, the candidate must have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks.

Prabhat Kumar College Placement

The college has a separate body which looks after the placements of the students in reputed companies with favorable working conditions for their students. The faculties conduct sessions, tests every possible thing to train their students & help them to become a professional. The career counseling & placement cell is always active & they keep on motivating their students. There is no direct campus placements, but if any student wants to, then the concerned authorities help that student till he/she gets placed.

Prabhat Kumar College Scholarships

The college provides financial assistance to the students who are financially weak & cannot afford high fees but are talented. Usually, this scholarship is availed by the students who come under BPL section. It doesn’t mean that students who don’t come under that section of the society cannot get the scholarship. The scholarship is normally generated by the tuition fees collected by the college.

COLLEGE ENTRANCE GATE IS NOT SO GOOD IT SHOULD CHANGE ALL THE GRILLS OF GATE
Seating capacity of class room is not so good
No enough teachers to maintain all the classes

In my cource we are tought about verios real world income sources like fish farming, honeybee farming and so on and we are also tought about wildlife ,genetics etc so that we can carry our life way to generate income

YEARLY 4 PAYMENT HAVE TO DO . 2 IS COLLEGE FEE AND 2 IS UNIVERSITY FEE BEFORE THE EXAM TWO COLLEGE FEE IS ABOUT 1800RS. OF MY COURCE INCLUDE ALL TYPES OF CHAGES OF COLLEGE ( TUISAN FEE- 700,REG FEE -200,ETC ALL) AND ABOUT 600RS. FOR UNIVERSITY THEN OUR ADMIT CARD RELEASES ALTHOUGH BEFORE FEE PAYMENT WE HAVE TO FILL A APPLICATION FORM ABOUT OUR SUBJECT CHUSEMENT . ALL CATAGORY LIKE SC/ST ARE SAME FEE. BUT SWAMIVIVEKANANDA SCHOLARSHIP WAS GIVEN TO STUDENTS WHO SCORED MORE THAN 65% YEARLY AND THAT AMOUNT WAS 18000RS . BASE ON ALL MY EXPERIANCE ALL EXPENSES ARE COVER UNDER THE SCHOLARSHIP IF A STUDENT GIVE LITTLE TIME TO STUDY AND SCORE A GOOD MARK. THANK YOU!

Infrastructure of the college

My class building is quite outside of main college building so .most of day i don't have to go inside the main collge campus but i can clearly say all the campus is well maintained there is also a well maintained garden inside the campus and a open basketball cort and huge sitting area overall my experiance is very good

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO IS VERY POOR , ALL TEACHERS ARE VERY MUCH APPROACHABLE BUT SOME OF WHO HAVE POWER OF POSITION LIKE (HOD). ARE NOT APPROACHABLE BUT NOT IN ALL DIPERTMENTS SOME ARE VERY GOOD BUT SOME ARE WROST . ZOOLOGY HOD IS MY FABOURITE FOR HIS TEACHING STYLE AND A TEACHER NAME MODHUSUDHAN DAS IS VERY WORST ABOUT KNOWLEDGE AND HE DONT'T KNOW HOW TO TEACH . ALL THE COURCE IS EASY EXAMS PATTNE TO SOCE MORE THAN 75% . ALL MY CLASSMETS WERE PASSED ALL THE EXAM PATTEN IS VERY WELL AND HELP TO PASS STUDENTS.

AT FIRST THAT COLLEGE IS EASY TO REACH FROM MY HOME , THIS IS ONLY A GRADE COLLEGE OF MY AREA REST OF IS IS B/C GRADE THE COLLEGE HAVE GOOD FACULTY ADMISSION PROCESS OF THIS COLLEGE IS VERY SIMPLE YOU CAN FILL APPLICATION FROM THROUGH A POOR CONDITIOM SMART PHONE AND THE COLLEGE WEBSITE IS VERY MUCH SIMPLE BUT MOST STUDENTS CUNT EVEN APPLY BECAUSE OF LOW MARK % THEY HAVE AND THE COLLEGE REQUIRED A LITTLE HIGH % OF MARK IN 12 TH IN THE SUBJECT I WANT TO TAKE IN COLLEGE LIKE IN ZOOLOGY I MIST HABE 90% IN BIOLOGY IN 12 th .

Night Life

There is very low nightlife in the college because of it is a day college but sometimes there are so many programme in evening at that time we all are enjoying like dancing etc in the campus My college union arrange many many high grade programmes in the college for entatenment perpous and all the night life of college is very much safe as well as girls Appart form this there are a nimber of famous and authentic cafes in this area in college time me and my friend were went to enjoy aour time in those cafes

Our college is so large .Many department is present here .an many cultural programs occur . Teacher student bonding is good . Teacher teach very carefully.
Our college campus is so much beautiful.In our college campus beautiful garden in present including beautiful flowers .

Some teacher is not teach carefully . Department room is not available.
Light is not available in girls bathroom. And bathroom is very dirty.

To get admission in MA (English) in Prabhat Kumar College, one must have to score more than 60% in graduation level in English and then he will be qualified based on the numbers of available seats. You can find application form, fees and dates from the official website of prabhat Kumar College. For reservation there have some additional scholarships which is 6-12k per year. There are semester based examinations and questions are standard. Everything is great and well enough if possible canteen should be little more standard. Otherwise everything is fine

All the memories of my college life is just awesome

Admission:

You must have 60% number in mathematics in 12th exam. It's application from is available on Prabhat Kumar College's official website. Application fees was about 500 rupees. And the application start after the result of 12th exam. It's have 5% reservation of total seats. It's a good going process and didn't face any problem when I fill up my form. It's been 6 years, now they must improve their sites i wish students can easily fill their form by themselves.
