Comprehensive yet evolving : A review of my data science journey in this college

Likes

Our college conduts many events in every department whether it is related to study or for entertainment
This college also have sanitary pad disposal machine
The behaviour of professor is excellent and also provide assistance for scholarship

Dislikes

It has less placement opportunity for the IT student
The campus is not much big and it is difficult to play games like cricket and football
There are more boys in the college compare to girls which tells us that about girl boy ratio

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good it provides opportunities for students to sit in the interview on campus. The students get eligible in the 3rd year to sit in the interview. But the placement opportunities for IT department is less compared to other departments in the college. Around 60% - 70% students get placement after completing college

Reviewing my college nshm knowledge campus durgapur.

Likes

I like the college very much before I found many things like there are very nice classrooms with projector.
There is a whole library for medical students specially. Faculties are very helpful,polite and teaching method is very nice everyone can understand so easily.
I love the atmosphere here the view the faculties the students the seniors all are very nice . Seniors are veri nice they helped us to settle here quickly and provide us Notes or ther information about the course.

Dislikes

I would like to suggest that the pond is not very good it should be cleaned.
The app that college uses is have some bugs i think.

Placement Experience:

In 8th semester you can eligible for placement. Many hospitals, nursing come here and almost every student got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to give interview in campus placement and got job at reputed hospital.

A Glimpse into my University life

Likes

The academics in my college is good as the professors are really experienced who are always ready to help us whenever they are needed.
The syllabus is very flexible and nuanced which helps the students develop in-depth knowledge and opens our mind to new experiences.
The events have been very beneficial for us and they really have helped us develop our communication and leadership skills.

Dislikes

The exam cell has a very poor management strategy as we do not have a clear cut information about when we are having our exams. We get to know about our exams about a week before they are conducted which does not provide ample time to prepare.
There is no clear cut academic calender. The calender we have is actually a normal calender not mentioning the holidays or events or exams we are supposed to have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is perfect and very flexible and nuanced helping the students open up to new experiences that help in their overall development. However, I think there must be more options to choose from as this is a University and not a college.

Amazing experience

Likes

First of all college events are great of course
I like that we have anime club and because of that i get to know so many students
In my College canteen is great i think 🤔

Dislikes

I really don't like when the lab computer doesn't work
Some of teachers when they gives us out of topic questions in the exam
I had my 1st sem in june 10th and after that they took our exam on September 20th

I took artificial intelligence to gain knowledge about it . But the other curriculums like yoga which is necessary to attend making it heard. Teaching method should be improved because some of our faculty is very poor in teaching

Likes

The classes and the campus and there is nothing more

Dislikes

Irregular classes , no proper guidance, not enough faculty
No placement , no internship, teachers hardly teach , syllabus is not clear.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no specific subject of AI. Whatever was there in the last sem were not taught properly. Concepts remained unclear. Last 2sem happened with a gap of 2months in between. Its really unorganised. We don't get proper scope to actually develop our skill. Practical classes are not held.

This course has mathematics with computer knowledge that's why I choose this job. And the future aspect is also very good. Exam is a little bit difficult. But you will pass that no problem. It is full study oriented college

I like the entire ambiance of the University.
I like the way the professors teach in smart board.
I like all the extra curricular activities that are held in our college.

Dislikes

The food of the hostel are not up to the mark.
Class timings are sometimes not maintained.
Anyone can enter the University campus anytime.

Placement Experience:

Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Google, etc. come for placement in our University but only the student who ace in the top of the list gets selected and the rest have to try for off campus placements. This is one of the biggest problem so far.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is good ???????? college provide the highest package of approx 17 lpa and the average package for 5to 7 lpa...the percentage of getting placed is overall about 89.9 percent.And many big companies like Deloitte TCS are visiting for campus placement

The Truth

Likes

The college had a lot of indoor games and activities throughout the year and you get chancea easily.

Dislikes

The college was really small, the campus and infrastructure.
We had no sports field, so we couldnt play football or cricket which is widely played by the youth.
Some of the professors dont really care much about the students growth in the field we're studying in.

Placement Experience:

The college provides quite a lot of placement opportunities. If you stick with the college, there are good companies that would probably take you in. Although, not many students pass the cutoff but companies like Amazon provide jon opportunities with good salary.

The environment of the college is very sustainable.
Labs and libraries are very helpful for the students
Faculties and experts a very good in lectureing.

Dislikes

Rude behaviour of some of the students in the college campus.
Greater sense of some of the students are very bad.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Of the companies that visited our college like digital quest, Zomato, Airtel, SVF, hoichoi, SRV media, Learn more digital and many more. Some of the companies provide packages of life 3 or 3.5 lakh per annum. 80% of the students get placement from our college. I am now working as social media executive in a reputed company.
