Comprehensive yet evolving : A review of my data science journey in this college

The bsc in data science curriculum is the strong foundation for the students aiming to enter the field of data science. The course generally focuses on the fundamental subject like programming, mathematics and statistics which are essential for any data science professional. Programming language like python, R, SQL are widely covered equipping students with the skills to manipulate data perform statiscal analysis and build machine learning project. The curriculum prepare well for the real and industrial world but has less amount of practical compare to theory but it has changed their curriculum from this year there are practical also which makes the students for the industry ready. The exams of the college is very frequently like in every month we have Internal assessment which is called CA but it is also give benefits to study for the course

Frankly speaking I am in the IT department and I didn't get the opportunities from College for internship because the internship and placement opportunities for the IT students are not good because of that

The placement of the college is good it provides opportunities for students to sit in the interview on campus. The students get eligible in the 3rd year to sit in the interview. But the placement opportunities for IT department is less compared to other departments in the college. Around 60% - 70% students get placement after completing college

The current fee structure of the college is 410000 which includes 50000 admission fees and 360000 tution fees which will be divided into semester. The college also provide scholarship named TPF in which student are selected on the basis of score which they got in previous grade

The events in the college are well good. They conduct many seminar for the welfare of students and also conduct event every year for the entertainment purpose like our college has inter college fest and many college fest in the time of diwali and navratri. There are widely range of books available in the library and also enough space to study There are also clubs run by the students In the college which helps to solve the problem of students.

I had applied for the bsc in computer science in Delhi University but unfortunately I didn't got selected because of merit afterwards I came to know about this college and I have knowledge about data science and have idea about it growing field in the future so one of my friend suggested this college and I talk with the councilor and the teachers too which impress me for taking admission in this college. The admission process for this college is CET of MAKAUT and merit based admission are also there

The faculty members of the college the well educated the their behaviour towards students are also good. In my opinion my best faculty will be Shirsendu sir because the way of teaching is good. My course contains 3 years program with 6 semester and exams are conducted with every 6 semester. The college is afflicated to MAKAUT university so MAKAUT gives the dates of exam. The course has 4 internal assessment which is called CA and one final semester at the end of semester. Overall the exams are good and the quality of the question is well

There not much night life like around the college yes gyms are there to workout and cafeteria to chill out. There are many indo- Chinese restaurant nearby college where we can chill out and eat variety of indo Chinese food
