Likes

Teaching theory and practical skills are taught in an excellent way. Faculty members of the college give continuous guidance and support to the students.
Students are provided with many internship opportunities, and as a result, they receive an offer letter to continue working with the same company after demonstrating their performance in various fields and companies.

Dislikes

Students are sometimes inactive in classes, but they are scolded for it by having their attendance cut.
Almost 50% of the batch doesnt go into placements due to a very low salary on offer, job roles not being worthy, and higher education plans

The environment of the college is very sustainable.
Labs and libraries are very helpful for the students

Dislikes

Rude behaviour of some of the students in the college campus.
Greater sense of some of the students are very bad.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Of the companies that visited our college like digital quest, Zomato, Airtel, SVF, hoichoi, SRV media, Learn more digital and many more. Some of the companies provide packages of life 3 or 3.5 lakh per annum. 80% of the students get placement from our college. I am now working as social media executive in a reputed company.

The insights and truth of Ilead College.

Likes

There is a placement program in which we have to attend a 2 hoir class once every week to develop our skills to get the best placement, that is something I really like about the college.
We have a weekly class lf foreign language and it's free of cost, we can either learn German or french.

Dislikes

We don't get a proper notification regarding the fee submission, it's something which I reported to the college too.
The college doesn't provide any internship program. I'm in 2nd year and it haven't received one yet. All they give is some sponsored fake looking and paid internships

Placement Experience:

The college does provide us placements and I have heard from the seniors that we shouldn't completely rely on the placements. The average placement is about 3,50,000 per annum. And the highest package for BBA was 15lpa secured by a student. The college separates the students who really want the placement from the ones who don't want it. And then focus on the ones who need placement to work on them and on their skills. The college says they provide 100% placement assistance.

ILead- Dream destination for your dream

Likes

The college life is filled with events. Almost everyday ILead hosts events encouraging students to participate.
The environment at iLead is extremely homely as I feel nothing but comfortable and calm when I enter the college.

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that some professors are extremely arrogant and disrespectful towards students without a valid reason.
The college cafeteria is extremely overpriced and it's better to stay hungry

Placement Experience:

The college provides an average salary of 3.5 lakh. Students have received great placement offers from many reputed companies like Wipro, Airtel, Jio, Axis Bank, Byju's, Godrej and many more. My plans after getting the degree are to get a job to help gain an experience and pursue MBA after 2 years at the job.

The UPS and DOWNS of college life

Likes

The campus has a minimalist look with proper construction using recycled products and a whole lot of books all around the college campus which can be taken home or used while in college
The overall experience of studying is good with proper and effective studying materials and good mentors making it easy for us to understand the subject

Dislikes

The classes are too small if someone is late getting in the class he has to arrange a different chair from other classroom to sit
There is no trips from college for the students

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for college placements after the 6th sem. A majority of the students are given placements from our colleges depending on the percentile they get and how good they are in their studies There are 40% of people who are offered placements with an average package of 150000 My plan after college is to start my exports of leather

My Experience from iLEAD

Likes

iLEAD provides a better facility to achieve career development. The faculty expertise and all round teachers interaction
Placements in iLEAD are immensely better than most of the college as it provides all over career development.

Dislikes

First off all it has a little less care for students on their punctuality. As the management does not pay much attention on the attendance
iLEAD is way too expensive for middle class families and it's hardly affordable.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are very high and quantitative in iLEAD. It provides large number of placements to the students, many companies are offered to the students to build up their career. From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for applying in the companies presented in the campus through placement. Many companies such as Airtel , Vipro , TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), Know Your Digital, Reliance and many more big companies had made offers for the students. Average package offered for thr students are ranging from 1.6 lpa to 2.4 lpa and highest it can reach upto 6 lpa for the freshers. It depends more on the skills and knowledge of the student rather than percentage obtained for getting placement.

Likes

The ambience or the atmosphere created by the crowd of the members of Ilead
The sustainability aspect of the college

Dislikes

A bit of mismanagement in terms of arrangement of examinations
The location of the institute is perfect but the area around is not too proper

Placement Experience:

This college encourages you to work with any opportunity you get I personally was offered an Australian based company okkular internship in the first year of mine it was paid also but the official internship period is in the 5th semester. The highest packages received in my batch was of 15000 and there is a 100% placement from the college too. I plan to pursue higher studies in abroad after this bachelor degree

The Student experience: Guide to and Realities of College Life.

Likes

The faculty here is very helpful and always supports every student if they have any problems in their studies
This college have digital classrooms with computers and projectors in every room. Faculty members mainly use digital formats like PDFs etc

Dislikes

The campus is okay but there's no actual playing ground, there is an enclosed playing ground on the roof of every building.
Food prices in canteen can be overpriced for some people as everyone comes from different backgrounds, so it should be affordable for all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is Makaut affiliated so the course curriculum is entriely based on MAKAUT University. I always wanted to do or pursue something where mainly the laboratory is involved and chemistry and biology is my favourites, so this BMLT course is absolutely suitable for me. The curriculum prepares us on a practical level, we've practicals that our faculty teaches us in dedicated laboratories. This BMLT course has different subjects like biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, haematology, anatomy and physiology etc and also minor is computer, which is necessary in today's world. There are side subjects too which are essential for knowledge and development. I think the syllabus can be more latest otherwise everything is good. Examination takes place in semesters, two semester completes 1yr. Mainly time of exams are December/January and June. Difficultly of examination is okay, not to wasy, not too hard, one have to study well to pass and secure good marks.

My honest review for iLEAD college as a student

Likes

Environment is the best, totally sustainable environment, maximum things are made of recycled products. Extremely decorated college. It should be the best environment friendly college of Kolkata even West Bengal
Every room is decorated very very well and scientifically so that students get educated about the history also. There in every wall you should find quotes that are relevant to life.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked a little bit that the college is totally vegetarian. There you won't see any kanteen where you are gonna get any non veg food item.
iLEAD has two section of times. Like as I choosed morning classes, so the morning classes starts from 8:00 am at morning. That's a little bit tough to join at the class at the right time everyday in winter.

Placement Experience:

Here, I've not been offered any placement still now because this is not the right time for me, but I have sent the placement drive are happening in our college and many students are going there and joining them. I have many seniors I know, they got placed. In my course, there is a mass option of freelancing is opened in front of all of us. We usually start doing freelancing after a year of studying. Here mentors also help to get clients. Then Ilead also offers interships. There students can learn and earn as well.

MY OPINION ON ILEAD.

Likes

Fully Ac classrooms with proper ventilation
It is at a very transportable area in kolkata

Dislikes

The infrastructure because it's all recycled products and falls off at any time.
The management because there's no such management here

Placement Experience:

Placements in BBA are not quite frequent as there's a lot of competition. There are On campus placement drives happening from big companies like Airtel, Accenture and many more but they are not that quite frequent.

Thriving at ILEAD Kolkata : A Student's Perspective

A large numbers of books . Also endless genres of books to read.
Anti ragging movements in college which leads to peaceful vibes in college.

Dislikes

Over costs of many foods in canteens.also different canteens offers things in different values.
Not much place to park vehicles. The roads are not that big for transport.

1. Too much avilability for compiters (as an IT frsher). 2. The college also arrranges regular seminar for the students for some clear directions. 3. They can make some classes for 1 hour rather than 2. so that the students don't get bored. 4. College offers us much time to prepare for the exams. and the timing for each exams are pretty justified.
