The HIT story

Likes

The best thing about this college is it's lush green campus in 42 acres with all the facilities inside the campus .
It's placement is decent as compared to its fees and expenditure of living.
Faculty is good and they are well qualified also. This college has a great library with all the best books available.

Dislikes

The first disadvantage is that it's located in very outside area . So sometimes travelling and enjoying college life becomes a great deal.
Talking about placements generally it's mass recruiters which offers just a average package for most of students.
The worst thing about this college is the behaviour and nature of seniors. It's completely not recommended for weak hearted students.

Placement Experience:

Students can get placed in the starting of 7th semester as companies starts visiting the college. Tcs , Wipro ,cognizant are major recruiters and recently for CSE Aiml there were 180 students and 155 offers were made .The highest package on campus is 33 lakhs and off campus is 45 lakhs . Average package is around 4 lakhs. 80-85% students are placed . My plan is to get placed in a good company with a great package.

My college moments

Likes

The events held here and the sports activities held.
The activeness of the placement cell and the support they provide.
The teaching methods of the faculties and the knowledge they provide.

Dislikes

The campus life here is not much interesting.
The classrooms and the library occupancy is a bit small.
The campus size and the play ground size is small.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, IBM, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, PWC, L&T etc. frequently visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was 60lpa provided by LinkedIn which was off campus and the on campus highest package was of 24lpa. The average package for tech branches goes upto 6-7lpa and overall goes upto 4lpa.

Open review of TECHNO MAIN SALT LAKE

Likes

Faculty is nice for computer science department
Sports culture is nice and there is regular conduction of some fun activities like dancing singing and other things
The college actively participates in every thing which is in trend and the coding culture is average but not bad

Dislikes

Ther campus is very small,classrooms don't have AC
Some faculty members are very good but some are not up to the expectations
Non Bengali students face a hug back ash in this collage as most of the people are bengali and there becomes a language barrier

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 7 th semester onwards company starts coming from the mid of 4 th year. The average package of this collage is around 4-5 lakh an highest ctc is around 13-14 lakh which is got by 1-2 person only. The placement percentage is around 80-90%.

Techno Main Salt Lake review

Likes

There are lots of clubs in the college. And the seniors are very supportive and inspiring.
Faculty members are passionate for there job and very supportive.
Our department is very strict for the academic performance.

Dislikes

Campus size is very small due to which there is no such campus life
There are no hostel facilities students have to live in private Hostels and pgs.
Food in the canteen is not up to the mark.

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage of the college is great. But most of the companies are service based so there is not high package placement offers. Most of the placements are arround 6 to 7 Lpa. Still the placement of the college is not bad.

My fault man, never should have come here.

Likes

The labs are more or less competent and provide the required necessities of a student's requirements.
The Ai and machine learning course seems to be competent to the current market.
Their are teachers who are definitely experts in their field and have sensible knowledge about their respective subjects.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is poorly maintained fir example the lack of good quality classroom furniture.
The majority of the faculty lacks english speaking skills and mostly communicate in bengali a very biased sort of environment.
The curriculum is very school like and lacks flexibility.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which was appointed to me was ai and ml which is quite the relevant topic for today's world. Although for the past one and a half year we have been taught nothing in that regard. So i suppose a start would be welcoming. The exams take place in a very unorderly fashion as the end sems take place right after the second term providing us with no time for preparation.

This college is slightly better than other private colleges.
Here are placements facility is slightly better.
Here college campus location area is much better and connectivity also

Here in this college college faculty in not that much good
Here campus Life is not that much good for this college
Avarage college life is slightly trace full .

Placement Experience:

As i am in 1st year i dont have enough accurate knowledge about the placements however as much as i have heard the placements are good/avg and many companies visit over here. The college is infront of Wipro main branch KOlKATA. As much as i have heard many students secured good on campus and off campus placements, one got placed at 23lpa from aiml.

The college also gives you opportunity for making connections

Faculties: I really like the faculties , they are really supportive . Whenever the students have any doubt they just approach to them and they really clear it out
Events : Many kinds of events happen regularly in college . Such as sports events , robotic events , cultural events , tech events
Staffs : the stops in the office room and administrative office are very helpful. I still remember once I forgot my physical reporting slip , I approach to them and their found me the new one .

Placement Experience:

Yes there is campus placement in my college , placements of my college is quite good . Companies visit our college every year and place many students in their companies . I got the data of the campus placement of last 3 years and it says that IT and CSE are the branch which has cracked the most in campus placements. The company offers diffrent packages to different students , the average package of my branch that is information technology is 6.5LPA

Environment of college is good. Senior are helpfull
Professor are highly educated and easily accessible to students
Location of my college is good because it is beside it hub of kolkata

Campus is is very small and there are only two field

In our college campus placement starts from 4th year. In my college cognizant,wipro, infosis, pwc any many other companys says. In my college 70-80 percentage of students gets placed. And some go for higher studies

Likes

Seniors are corporative and there is no ragging happens
Professors are very corporative , they have deep understanding of knowledge
Girls to boys ratio is also decent and good .

Dislikes

Campus area is very short, there is only 2 small ground only
Placement is very decent and companies do come but mass recruiters are more.
Hostels are also not there in campus, only department buildings are there.

Placement Experience:

To get elegible for placement, it starts form 7th semester . Companies like TCS , Wipro, Infosys etc comes in my college. Highest package was 14 lakhs and average package is 6 lakhs . I haven't decided what will I do after my graduation.
