NSEC in a nutshell

Likes

Friendly ambience to study , a pure ragging free campus , the college is well connected to travel
Good alumni for helping and growth. They provide help and assistance to learn the skills required and motivate to go further
The infrastructure of the college is developing recently and it's being far better day by day .

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is moderate Most of them gets placed there are hardly few lacking efficiency who doesn't gets placed. Companies like microsoft adobe IBM do visit our campus. It's recommended to up skill and get placed

Likes

Yes faculties are good.and they support us.
If some improvement happen on infrastructure it would be nice,it's quite alright already but if some improvement happen that would be excelared.
I don't much about placement right now because I am not attended any placement

Dislikes

Mentioned all the things already.some improvement need
Amenities are good also but for this also need improvement so we can get more benefit
I am an introvert so.am good with it I have no problem but if it's happens I will be happy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exams are quickly.its need some improvement.and i always passionate about computer so I wanted to do b tech in CSE that's why I keep it in my life.and I got much knowledge about computer and the things about computer and the real world ai which is improving day by day about that.so the overall experience of my course is beautiful.

Real MAKAUT

Likes

Curriculum is structured. Syllabus is completed on time and continuous assessments are also taken.
Placement is decent and improving with time.

Dislikes

The location of the university is quite odd.
Semesters are long and delayed sometimes.
They approve internships but very less internships are provided by them.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester the students are eligible for placements. Companies start visiting from the month of June. Decent placements are provided with an average package of 6LPA. Off-campus exams or offers are also shared with students via email.

Likes

Campus is better than most of the colleges in west bengal

Dislikes

Placements are not upto the mark, companies do come but they hire for a very small amount
A proper student body doesn't exist , there have been no fests since last 4-5 years

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is pretty messed up, companies do come but most of them are mass recruiters from Kolkata and the package is just the bare minimum, we are allowed to sit in campus since the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Cognizant Capgemini, EY are some of the major recruiters, highest package from campus goes around 10-12 LPA and average is around 4-4.5 LPA. Around 55-65% students get placed.

SURTECH REVIEW

Likes

Teachers promotes study beyond curriculum, faculties are friendly
Promotes sports activities better then others
Easier to get admission, open to wide range of students

Dislikes

Irregular classes, syllabus may or may not be covered entirely
Bad infrastructure like dirty washrooms, only labs has ac and some of them doesn't even work
Some labs are not well equipped, lifts don't work sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In Btech the course curriculum are good but not more than enough, it can't be prepared us for real world, my decision to choose the course because it's easier than other engineering course, and also when in college we stay focus and goal for placement we can grab a placement before our college end

College life is a happy life

Likes

Infrastructure in good, transport are easily available
Good teachers and a lot to learn and college fees I not also too high
Practical session are knowledge gainable where u can learn many things

Dislikes

Very hot class in summer need to invild some airconditioner in class

We can rate 8/10 because of it's very good location and Management infrastructure in also very good with team and Students are also very good i get a quiet good and very good knowledge from the teachers and also the senior

I liked the lab facility in my college.
I liked the education of faculties for good education

Dislikes

The college campus is too short so i dislike this
The library is too short for peacefully the reading a book
Fees structure is much high for the middle class family

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester student are allowed for campus placement.TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ACCENTURE, IBM, HALDIA PETROCHEMICAL.TECH MAHINDRA AND OTHER COMPANY VISITED THIS COLLEGE.HIGHEST PACKAGE 18 L PER ANNUM AND AVERAGE PACKAGE 6 LAKHS PER ANNUM. 98 % STUDENT GET PLACEMENT.MY PLAN IS M.TECH FROM ANY NIT OR IIT BY GATE EXAM.

Likes

Labs are well equipped with modern machines.
Highly qualified and supportive faculties.
They give placement support. Also they have a well structured curriculum.

Dislikes

The campus is way too small. There is no campus life.
The canteen facility for the first years is not good.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, students become eligible for the campus placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Oracle visit our college. My plan is to get a good campus placement and then after a few years pursue M.Tech.

IEM and it's education

Likes

They try their best to make you a entrepreneur

Dislikes

Too strict with timings and classes and very few holidays
Doesn't have any campus and most of the people are too much into studies
Very very strict attendance and faculty is also very dangerous if you disturb them

Placement Experience:

Placement are good and best in West Bengal among private Most people get placed although the average package lies between 5.5-6 lacs Oracle and Adobe and PWC hires Candidates at a really good package Above 7.5-18 lpa
