Real MAKAUT

Curriculum is well structured but needs to be updated. New technologies have in included in the curriculum but not in a proper manner. Exams are taken frequently and continuously. Difficultly level can be rated 8/10.

Not many internships are provided by the University. Some departments provide many internships like BBA. But in B.Tech few companies do come but with very less stipend. Students prefer doing internships they find from LinkedIn or Indeed.

From 7th Semester the students are eligible for placements. Companies start visiting from the month of June. Decent placements are provided with an average package of 6LPA. Off-campus exams or offers are also shared with students via email.

Current tuition fee of 2nd year can be divided into 3 parts-1.Odd semesters -35000/- 2. Even Semester -25000/-. Scholarships are provided to the needed, TFW are also approved with proper proofs. Hostel fees are 9700/- per semester.

Cultural and Tech Fests are held annually in our University named "Anweshan" conducting hackathons, different contests and many more. They technical clubs in the University, students volunteer forum(svf) and many more.

The rooms are spacious shared by 2 or 3 people. To each, they provide a bed, an almirah, a study table and a chair. Meals are provided in the canteen 4 times a day which is Pay-and-take that is you pay the money only when you take food. Ample PGs are available opposite to the University.

Any 12th pass or equivalent in Science stream is eligible for the course. I got admission through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). The examination is held once every year in the month of January or February.

The faculty to student ration is approximately 1:8 and I believe that's enough in an University. They have proved to be quite good mentors and do the needful. We are allowed to approach them whenever we need.
