The college review

Likes

There is no ragging in our college campus.
The environment in our college is very good.
Our college has seperate building for different departments.

Dislikes

Our college has does not have any hostel.
Our college is a little far from the main city of Siliguri.
Our college is in nepali area which makes food difficult.

Placement Experience:

Last year (7th or 8th Semester). TCS, Microsoft, Infosys ,EY etc. Highest Package:- 52 lakhs. Average Pakage:- 6 lakhs. 65 percentage compulsory. After completing b.tech job in any company then I will do M.tech.

Good college for CSE and IT

Likes

Campus is good professor are good and experienced
Nice campus good behaviour and location is good
Pg are there that are affordable with minimum rent

Dislikes

Location is outside the city which I dislike
Cafeteria is not in the campus and not any canteen
College ground is outside the campus and gym

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good for it and computer science students it depends upon the student. There are the training provided by the college for the placement .that helps alot for us packages are also very good

Brief review of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology

Likes

Faculties are really good and knowledgble
The labs are well equipped and lab teachers are helpful.
The campus is really good and green. The location is decent.

Dislikes

Few faculties are really amateur. they do not teach that good.
the canteen has limited food. and quality is overall decent.

Placement Experience:

From third year students become placement ready. Many top companies like IBM, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, TCS come here. Highest package is around 12L and average around 4L. 80% of students get placement. My plans is to get a job in a multinaional company after completing my course.

The Ups and Downs of College Life in MSIT.

Likes

The Professors teaching in this college are well qualified.
The placement provided by college is more than other average colleges.
The curriculum of this course is quite crisp and suits the advancement of each students.

Dislikes

The college campus is quite small and lacks a playground.
This college doesn't provide any internship program.
The location of this college is bad overall.

Placement Experience:

The placement provided by our college is average as they highest package is 32lpa last year and the lowest was nearly 2-3lpa. The average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum. This college doesn't provide any intership. Nearly 70% students get their placement in their final year. Various companies that visit are Cognizant, TCS, wipro, infosys, amazon.

About Heritage institute of technology,kolkata

Likes

Faculties of the college is very friendly and supportive.
There are varieties of clubs and all are very active.
So many types of sports are available for students.

Dislikes

There are no fest, freshers and fairwell.
There is no AC available in the classroom.
Food in the canteen is not good and not hygiene.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not very high but it is good. The average placement is 5-6 lpa which is a good figure for starting package. For every companies there is different eligibility criterias .

HOPING FOR THE BEST

Likes

Firstly I liked the nature and environment of the college which is completely greenery.
Secondly the classes and labs of different departments are very clean and have the best devices.
The teacher's are very friendly and always ready to help you with any subject.

Dislikes

The canteens food, like it's good but some of the items on the menu are really bad.
The library guards doesn't allow us to write project files inside the library.
Its veryy confusing to find your class if you don't have remember the room number as all of the floors n rooms look same.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good. companies like TCS , Google , Amazon , ect come. 100% students get placed. Highest package is 18L and everage is 6L. I have planned to get a job in google or T.CS on a good post and go abroad

I live the things is my college is there are teachers wo always support students
My college are ragging free college , this is intresting
Faculties are also good , they always ready to help

Dislikes

Things is dislike in my college is they don't provide big campus
Things is dislike in my college is gaming area is to small
Things i dislike in my college is they have not enough pc in lab

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placement. There are some companies who visited our college, Amazon , Flipkart and TCS and may companies depends upon Market.there are 80% of students get placed.

The faculty members and the reading environment of college is very good.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small but arranged

Placement Experience:

I guess from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Like Amazon who visited our college but I think one got made a offer from Amazon.The highest package of college is 32LPA and average 5.5-6 LPA.

Likes

Few teachers are so good and supportive in nature
College organisation does organise programs often
Location of the college is for sure much better

Dislikes

Bathrooms are of poor conditions and need to be improved urgently
Makaut syllabus and it's questions pattern is quite unpredictable
Not all facilities available are cooperative

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60 out of 100 students made up in the companies And companies like Wipro TCS visits here and the package per annum is decent,not so much but on campus placements would lead you to grab a decent deal I would like to advise you to go for or wait for off campus placements too

My experience in the college

Likes

The core faculties of the departments are very well proffessioned and teaches very well
We have different clubs to enhance each persepective for example the tech club
Enough attention is also given to the spoets part. We have many types of sports in the college

Dislikes

Sometimes faculties are nit reachable in the first year
Anti ragging head somewhat caught in his own acts

The placements are fairly good than many other colleges actually. Companies like deloitte, tata consultancy services ( TCS) , cognizant and many more take part in the college placement. Almost 80-90% of the students get placements. Highest off campus till now i guess is 7200000/yr . And average is arund 4 lakh for CSE
