The Ups and Downs of College Life in MSIT.

The course curriculum is well suited for each and every students as there are not many subjects in a single semester which can put stress on students but the subjects in each semester lets the students to understand and further develop the subject they are studying.

The placement provided by our college is average as they highest package is 32lpa last year and the lowest was nearly 2-3lpa. The average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum. This college doesn't provide any intership. Nearly 70% students get their placement in their final year. Various companies that visit are Cognizant, TCS, wipro, infosys, amazon.

The total fees paid for this course in this college is 6.25 Lakhs which means yearly it rounds off to more than 1.5 lakhs. Tuition fee for each semester is different for each semester but it ranges between 70-80k. Some batchmates having TWF category have to pay way less than general category. Swami Vikenananda Scholarship is is available for students scoring more than 7 YGPA and having total family income less then 2 Lakhs.

Annual Fest (Advaya) and Technical Fest(paridhi) are held along with various other intra/inter college fests in this college in winter season mostly. This college has a huge library with various books accessible to the students.The classrooms are well developed with smart boards and modern benches. This college's sports club and various cultural clubs host a lot of extracurricular activities and events to keep the students excited through out the year. Clubs like Resilience Club are student-run social group helping vaious causes and underprivileged people.

Personally I had applied for 2 more colleges with the course CSE(AIML) namely Heritage and Techno Main,SaltLake. I got rejected in both the colleges due to less rank in my Wbjee exam and their admission category. MSIT approved my admission as my rank matched their admission criteria. This college approves students on the basis of their rank in Wbjee and in my course the minimum requirement of rank was 40,000. The admission process is quite simple in this college as my admission was confirmed in a day by just being present at the college on the day of admission by providing various documents .

The Faculty members in this college are well qualified and they teach well but there are few professors who teach better than others like for example Mrs. Lopamudra Dey is an excellence and well educated professor and she is well approachable by students.
