- Aap professors are very good and take know about the subject in detail and the love their subjects and teach us how to love the subject
- Jadavpur university has a strong track record of campus placements, with many students securing promising job opportunities in leading companies across various industries.
- The eligibility of the course for electronics and telecommunication engineering is you have to get a good marks and rank in wbjee exam, our department is second best after cse is the best department in our college
Dislikes
- Quality of faculty is not very good as the salaries are low. the flawed fees structure causes the university to be dependent on government funds and lack autonomy.
- The thing which i disliked is the level of difficulty in our syllabus..it's a bit tough.
- The infrastructure of the class and labs are not good due to lack of funds and skilled personnel at all levels.

Placement Experience:
in the 3rd year, you can apply for internships on campus and in the 4th year, you can seat for campus placements. A lot of good companies came to recruit both cores, noncore finance. the year avg package is 10.2 LPA so you can imagine that placement is good.

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. There are many companies like Tata, Bajaj, Iocl, visit the campus. The highest package lies between 40 to 60 lac per year. The placement of computer science engineering is very good. The average package of the college is 9 lac.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible from the 5th semester for campus placements and internships but most students gets placement in the 4th year. Multiple companies come like Wipro, TCS, Bajaj, Airbus, BMW and many. The highest placement from Mechanical is 8LPA and overall is approximately 50LPA from CS department in a software company. 80% of students apply for placement. Out of the approximately 90% of students get placement. My plan after getting the degree is GATE and UPSC.

From 7/8th semester students are eligible for campus placements. IT companies like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, GOOGLE, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI TECH MAHINDRA , AIRBUS, GAIL, BOEING, PWC, TATA STEEL, TATA MOTORS, L&T and countless others visit the campus for offering jobs. Packages shoot upto 60 LPA, and averages around 10 LPA. In the non core sector placement is almost 100%. And in the core sector placement is almost 30% ( DUE TO COVID)

From 4 th year student become eligible to get placement.
Tata, ITC, airbus, Bajaj moto, cognigen ,BMW , GAIL, PSUs and etc are coming & you get more than 1 offer regarding your performance.
In mechanical 80% students are placed more or less.

After 3 rd year all students are eligible for placements, many huge companies IBM,TCS,Tata,IOCLetc comes and gives highly packages every year. Almost 10-15 lakh is the minimum annual job package and almost 50-60 lakhs are the highest packages. Almost 90% students get placements. My plan is to sit for all india exams likeIAs,ips upsc after completing bachelor degree.

Placement in JU is extremely good, it's well above some NIT and some new IITs also. Students become eligible for internships from the 2nd year, but most students grab internship opportunities in their 3rd year. Many big companies such as GAIL, AMAZON, IOCL, PwC, BHEL etc also visit for campus placement but they require very high CGPA for their selection Total of 100+ companies visited campus in the 2020-2021 session.

1)For internship 3 rd year and for placement 4th year.
2) Google, Amazon, Microsoft, At Lassian, Texas instruments, Uber, Samsung, PWC and lots of other companies visit
ONE IMPORTANT point is that The PSUs like IOCL, NTPC, ONGC also come in college and direct select the students without giving GATE exam that is not in other colleges, only a few IITs, JU and some other colleges.
3)This year Highest CTC offered by Amazon is 55 LPA and the average CTC is 10.2 LPA
4)70-80% get placed
5) Not a fix plan right now.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements.
Various companies come for placement.
Naming the big one's Google, Amazon, Mircosoft, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Well's Fargo, ZS Associates, Gup Shup, PWC, Goldmann Sachs, and much much more.
The highest package offered is 65 LPA while the lowest is 3.66 LPA.
In JU EE approximately 95% of the students get placed(people who only sit for the placements).
I am not sure about my plans after I get the degree I am yet to discover the path I will be in.
