- The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .
Dislikes
- Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here
- The teaching is very bad by some of the research oriented professors.

- Peer Group is one of the most liked things by me in the campus as we meet people from diverse backgrounds having different interests so we get to learn alot and make connections
- Campus is very large and lush green, the weather is always good except in summers daytime there is hot many times but evening and morning are cool

Students get eligible for placements from the 5th semester or final year ( depending on their degree). There are various companies visiting every year like Google , Microsoft , Amazon , BCG , Apple , Graviton , Zepto , Samsung , ITC , Accenture , Tata Steel and many more . The highest packages given are more than 100 lacs while the average package is around 15 lacs . Every company offers atleast 1,2 profiles like SDE , Analytics , Finance , Consultancy ,etc . Around 2400 students sit for placements every year and more than 1700 are placed . I plan to get a job in the placements next year and study further

IIT Kharagpur is known for its Strong placement record across various departments and interdisciplinary areas. Last year IIT KGP set a record of the fastest 4000 placements across the nation. Career Development Centre of IIT KGP manages the entire placements of The campus ensuring proper connect between students and recruiters. Tech Giants like Google, Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, Apple visit the campus Consulting firms like Mckinsey BCG etc also visit the placements. With the placements record crossing over 90% across many departments, IIT KGP has an average package of 24 lakhs and a Median of around 20 lakhs.

- the management of the campus is very good . it is neat and clean all time throughout the year.
- the seniors are quite supportive. helps us in every situation .
Dislikes
- a lot of cycling is required. the class rooms are very far away from the hostels
- the girls and boys ratio is quite low . in my department out of 90 students only 14 are girls .
Placement Experience:
placement reports of iit kharagpur is best among all the other IITs . it is the oldest IIT so the alumni network is so good . so they helps us for the placements for the different departments and MNCs . The average placement is 20 to 24 lakh per anum. and a lot of students also go for off campus placements and higher studies too. the companies like google , microsoft, flipkart, amazon .. etc MNCs take students from our college every year . overall 80 to 90 % students get placed during the placement. i will go for the higher studies insted of placement after graduation because i want to expore it in a higher level.

- the mess food of the hall of residence and for the other halls also

Course Curriculum Overview:
the course curriculum is very well managed to provide the student enough time to improve their newer and soft skills in a professional manner and the profession in this area is filled with scope in terms of the upcoming scenarios of the nation . the difficulty of the exams are very leniant and can be easily managed by any serious and professional time management student.

- Environment is very calm and green. Everytime youfeel lonely environment is your all time partner.
- Seniors are amazing. They are really helping in nature. You always have a person to discuss and get solutions for your problems
Dislikes
- Sometimes the TAs are little partial to someone of same cultural background. That's disturbing sometimes. But with time you are smart enough to manage such small problems.
- The culture is sometimes toxic to students particularly during elections. During Hall days organized during elections there is so much of alchohol intake.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement in the fourth year. There are so many companies visiting every year and about 60-70 percent of students get placed as there are many students who pursue higher studies or prepare for government jobs. The highest package offered during the 2023-24 session was approximately 2 crores and the average package is 25 lacs. My plan after the degree is to sit for a quantitative finance placement.

- IIT KGP is no doubt an brilliant college , things like its peer group make it even more better. Peer group plays an important role in personal development of an student.
- I was strongly involved in sports activities in campus throughout the year. And i interact with numerous people through events and while playing and i felt that people in IIT are quit studies except some students.
Dislikes
- All the staff is almost Bengali due to domination good faculties are teaching great minds , teaching can be made more interesting things are that worse some times that faculty don't understand their own slides.
- Teachers don't teach us they just come read slides and go. Almost no interactions with students. Every year placements getting worse and decreasing per year .
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible to sit in campus placement in their final year. Companies like nestle , britania , etc. Highest package was 33 lakh , average package was 17.96 and 68.75 % students got placed in 2023.

- I liked the beauty of this campus. It's too huge to explore.
- In our college seniors are too supportive.
Dislikes
- If you mess with professor you won't be able to get degree.
- Location of our campus is too bad. Nothing to travel here.

Placement of our college is very nice. We have highest package of 4 crore last year. And currently of this year highest package is 1.8 crore LPA. In our college more than 400+ companies comes to our college for hiring students.

After 4th year student will able to get placement through college. There are many companies like Zomato,Uber, Google, Nvidea and many more. Highest package is 4.5 crpa. average package is 22.4 lpa.The placement rate is 100 percentage. Like I have started website development and I will go in that branch.

- Maintenance of hostel should be looked upon with greater efforts.
- The quantity of meals in hostel mess is a bit inadequate

From the 7thn semester students are eligible for campus placements however several PPOs are also offered to the students . Big multinational companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Quantbox, TSMC, McKinsey , etc. visit the campus . The number of offers made is over 1600. The average package is around 20 lacs and with over 70 job profile being offered. The placement percentage is 100 for those who do not opt for higher studies. My plans include doing masters in a top university in USA.

- The things that I liked about iit is that here people are very friendly
- Here we have really good faculties and curriculum

- I dont like is that due to huge campus we have to travel alot
- Also the mess food is not that good which i think can be better

The course curriculum is quite good. We get to learn very much from our curriculum especially all the practical knowledge that Indian education system lacks. Also the faculty is very good and supportive , they clear all of our doubts
