Course Curriculum Overview

Like I want some good branch but due to rank there is no possibility so I chose this branch and as this is a reputed college so I have chosen this college and teaching methods are excellent and teachers are well qualified from on of the best colleges of worlds.

Internships Opportunities

Previously, the college released the phase 1 IIT Kharagpur Placments 2023 report. A total of 1600 offers and 900 Internship offers were received by the students including 45 International Offers. During Day 1, students secured more than 760 offers Including the Pre-Placement Offer.

Placement Experience

After 4th year student will able to get placement through college. There are many companies like Zomato,Uber, Google, Nvidea and many more. Highest package is 4.5 crpa. average package is 22.4 lpa.The placement rate is 100 percentage. Like I have started website development and I will go in that branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Like fees is not too much for the study and there are many financial supports given by the government and I have family income certificate so due to that I have got some scholarship for the study so it is all about that.

Campus Life

There are two fest one is spring fest and another is kshitij.The library I can't explain it but like most of the books for every subject will available class rooms are two good as I thought. Like there are many options for sports and extra curricular activities like NSO football, cricket, hockey, badminton etc and health and fitness, National student services,NCC and many more. Like there are many clubs like student welfare group.

Hostel Facilities

Like I have room they provide almira , study table set ,bed ,fan two lights and bathroom shared with on more room registration process is very easy only you have to come and fill form you will get it .Like meal quality I don't think it's good It's average like.hostel is in the college itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 108000 per year

Admission

The process is we have to clear two one of the difficult exams in India first we have to clear jee main and if we qualify then we should go for jee advanced this is a exam done by government so they provide the application forms around one month before the exam.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
