- All the big brands and big tech giants come to the campus for great opportunity opportunity for students you can apply for placements from the fifth semester itself.
- College provides a lot of scholarships like merit cum means scholarship, inspire scholarship, and fee waiver scheme.
- The faculty members are really good as they are great researchers in their respective fields.
Dislikes
- But, if we talk about scholarship then it's a bad news that there is no institute scholarship for unreserved students but u can get it for other organisations like nsp.
- The hostel rooms are also not good enough and lack cleanliness sometimes and have broken chairs/ tables, etc. at times.
- The academic workload can be sometimes demanding, not always but sometimes, leading to stress and pressure among students.

- academic pressure is too high sometimes, especially during the exams.
- Coordination among students are teacher is too weak
- Distance of hostel to class room is too much
Placement Experience:
Placement is good.
IITs are known for great placements and the same habit is followed here.
Good students easily get around 25-30 lpa on an average.
Highest packages are usually in crores.
All students get placed.
mostly jobs are in CSE/IT dept.

- Facilites that they provide like they provide facities such that you can pursue anything you want to..
- There is no ragging and seniors are so supportive

- The hostels are too old for sophomores
Placement Experience:
During the 7th semester the students will be eligible for placements. 98 percent of the students gor placed somewhere or the other.Highest package secured so far was 3.48cr per annum and the average package is 9lakhs. My plans after the degree is to write IES exam.

From the 6 th semester onwards the placements are get opened in the campus for various companys.nearly 67 percent get jobs in the college .
My plan is to pass the group 1 exam and become collector in andhra pradesh .

Placement Experience:
Internships are available from the 3rd year, but placements occur during the winter break of the fourth year. Apple, samsung , NVIDIA, McKinsey are some of the companies that visited. Last year the highest offer was 2.68 Crore. Every year approximately 92% students get placed, rest move on to pursue higher studies

- I like the campus infrastructure and the greenery.
- The kgp culture is one of things which I like the most it is very vibrant.
- The seniors are very helpful and they're very cheerful with juniors
Placement Experience:
The placements at the college are very good better than other colleges. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th-6th semester and many world-famous companies visit the campus for placements. Almost all the students get placed by the end of 4th year. After getting a degree I would like to do my master's degree.

- Academic section is at distance 2.5km from hostel
- Lift is not in hostel so going up to 5th floor I don't like

Placement Experience:
I am a first-year student so I do have no in-depth knowledge of placements but I share what is shared with us by IIT KHARAGPUR
Students become eligible for an internship in 3rd year when they are selected via cgpa and their interview.
And students became eligible for placements in 4th year. Various companies come to campus for placement.
In 2023 the highest package is 2.68 crore per annum.
Approximately 80% of students get placed.
After my degree, I am planning for my start-up.

Internships start in the 5th semister and placement started in the 7th semester. many MNCS and start companies visit for internships and placements and the average package is 16 lakhs and the highest package is 2cr over all placements are good.

- I liked the campus fests, events and the student community of IIT Kharagpur.
- I liked the Hall culture in IIT Kharagpur.
- I liked the Faculties at IIT Kharagpur even though I didn't attend all of the classes.
Dislikes
- Some faculties are quite boring and uninterested while teaching.
- Classes are far away from hostel which takes a lot of time.
- Food at our Hall could have been a lot better.
Placement Experience:
Internships start in the 5th semester and placements start in the 7th semester. Many MNCs and startups visit for internships and placements. The average package remains around 16lakhs per annum and the highest package goes over 2Cr.

From 4th year students can apply for placement. There are lots of companies that visited campus in the past year. There is a CDC center for this placement and internship. Though a small bunch of people goes for higher studies.

For B.Tech. (4 years) students, the campus internships are being done before the commencement of the academic third year. The same for M.tech (5 years) students is done before the commencement of their fourth academic year. I am not aware of the rest questions. I don't have plans right now for my future.
