Course Curriculum Overview

1:12 is the boy to girl ratio. I choose this course because it is easy and more in trend.the faculty are very good . The exam are held once 2 months and are some what difficult to attempt and get good score

Internships Opportunities

Google ,Infosys,tata,bajan etc... are some of the major companies which are major contributors towards internships . Many other IITS also take students for computer coding and software development of institution.

Placement Experience

From the 6 th semester onwards the placements are get opened in the campus for various companys.nearly 67 percent get jobs in the college . My plan is to pass the group 1 exam and become collector in andhra pradesh .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 154830 per semester in the IIT kharaghpur for a non reservation candidate.They are so many scholarships for sc and st about laptop purchase and fees for semester. They get nearly one lakh for semester as concession.

Campus Life

Spring fests and shourya are well conducted fests in th months January and December respectively. Nearly all the reference books are available in the second large library among the IITs.for all sports they are inter IIT sports events are held.

Admission

One should get 75 percentage in 12th board exam and should only one year dropout is allowed. St and school get very high chance of getting admission.Yes I want to have the reservation system to be removed .

The placement of the college is not that much which I expected but not also very bad the highest package of the college is around 51 lack and the average package is like 11-12 lack and the median of the college is 10 lack pretty much good and placement percent is around 88 percent of students placed every year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Clg Review

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
