- All the big brands and big tech giants come to the campus for great opportunity opportunity for students you can apply for placements from the fifth semester itself.
- College provides a lot of scholarships like merit cum means scholarship, inspire scholarship, and fee waiver scheme.
- The faculty members are really good as they are great researchers in their respective fields.
Dislikes
- But, if we talk about scholarship then it's a bad news that there is no institute scholarship for unreserved students but u can get it for other organisations like nsp.
- The hostel rooms are also not good enough and lack cleanliness sometimes and have broken chairs/ tables, etc. at times.
- The academic workload can be sometimes demanding, not always but sometimes, leading to stress and pressure among students.

- The infrastructure here is very great, the library and classroom complex provide a perfect environment.
- The campus life is the best. There is no IN time in hostels so you can go anywhere at any time.
- Campus is full of greenary, so a bad mood can easily be healed by long walks in the campus. It is 2100 acres so if you want you can go to some peaceful places.
Dislikes
- There is nothing much to be disliked about here.
- Students face difficultlies when some faculties teach otherwise overall they're all good
Placement Experience:
For campus placements students generally become eligible in 7th semester. More than 200 companies have visited and around 1600 offers have been made. Highest package this year was 1.69 Cr and the average package is around 18L. Nearly all the students who sit in campus placements get a job. I have a plan to secure a high pay job after getting the degree.

- Company: the people that surround us here are nothing short of brilliant
- Great infrastructure: state of the art facilities
- Amazing research and startup opportunities.
Dislikes
- Transportation to the campus is a bit difficult for people who live outside of west Bengal. The airport is too far
- Hostel and mess facilities are not too great
- Peer pressure is sometimes too overwhelming
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is pretty good in my department (Industrial and systems engineering).
In the first year all students have the same courses and the classes are held together irrespective of the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The B.Arch course curriculum at IIT Kharagpur is very vast.
Faculty:Student = 1:40
All faculties aka teachers have a very strong concreate knowledge about the subject, and their teaching method is top in the the country.
Over a timespan of 4months, that is 1 Semester their are 2 class tests, 1 mid sem exam and finally 1 end sem exam.
Its not that hard to pass the exam, all one needs is consistency.

- Every day lab is so head tech sometimes ( IT LOOK impossible to attend all cllasses)
- Large time taken by trains to reach college
- Outside the campus is nothing to explore

course curriculum is good and easy to crack all courses if you start study 1 week before exam , some faculty member are so good and help students every time ,but some faculty members not so good ,faculty studentratio is not so good approximately 1:50

Microsoft,goggle,Honeywell,Amazon,Flipkart,Tcs,Accenture.(total 1400 Offers were Made)

- In our college aisa one of largest library are their it help every one .their are several lab are their.
Dislikes
- As this college is one of the best college in the world. So most of the things are available. And nothing i find here that i dislike.
Placement Experience:
In our college form 4th year placement are started. There are several company are visit our college during placement like microsoft, goggles, apple etc.above 80 percentage students are getting placement. After getting degree apply for job.

- The college culture, the society here are more likely to be our family and senior are like are parents.
- Also the college itself is very huge to explore.
- Even if you don't know something at all college provide the opportunities to learn it from the basics
Dislikes
- Few Academic courses are really difficult and unnecessary.
Placement Experience:
People in 7th semester become eligible for the campus placements as well as research opportunities.
Most of people get very good placements in companies like mackenzie, Google etc.
On the first day of placement interview itself 50% of the students get it so almost everyone get average good package.

- Food in lbs hall the food is worse and mostley students depend on canteens and hotels
- gender ratio girls need more seats in iit kgp
- we cant get time to study due to extremely short semester

Basically i can cse in iit guwahati.I love electronics as compared to coding.
faculty student ratio is excellent there were many TA's in iit kgp they are very helpflu but sometimes they struggle to explain concepts

- A bit more exam load sometimes leads to depression
- Mess foods are sometimes bad in some of the Hostels.
- Things are very expensive inside campus premises.
Placement Experience:
One can sit in campus placements on 7th semester of 4 year B . Tceh course. Renowned companies like Apple , Google , CapitalOne , Microsoft , Square Point , Amazon, Flipkart etc . come to IIT Kgp campus to offer on campus placements to the students . Highest package is almost 2 Crore each year . 85 percentage students almost get placements each year , many of others go for higher studies . I want to get a good job after the degree.
