course curriculum is good and easy to crack all courses if you start study 1 week before exam , some faculty member are so good and help students every time ,but some faculty members not so good ,faculty studentratio is not so good approximately 1:50

there are so many companies visit every year in my college like google, facebook, flipkart etc . our college has broad network which help student to get intenship in 3rd year of their college for btech and bsc students

Fees and Financial Aid

college fees is about 2 lakh per semester and and hostel ,mess and other fees is about 1 lakh for a year and there is college fees concession policy for students whose parents income is less than 1 lakh and for taking profit for the policy we have to upload ITR of mother and father in college website

Campus Life

campus life is amazing ,there lot of function held in every month and more than 200+ societies in college which help to improve our skills in every sector you want there are lot of opportunites and there are some important function are khitiz(tech fest) , spring fest etc.

Hostel Facilities

hostel are so good well managed , every week bhaiya is come to clean our room once in a week , there is also sports facilites ,gym , music ,art room and other faciltes avail in hostel . Mess food is not so good sometimes it is hard to eat a bite

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

I cleared JEE advanced exam with 7979 (general) rank and get EWS benefits , which effects significantly to get aerospace branch in college ,admission process is so smooth it takes maximum 2 hour if all your documents is ready which are availabled in college websites

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

M.Tech in IIT KGP - What you need to know.

Clg Review

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
