- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

- IIT KHARAGPUR has a wonderful campus spread out in around 2100 acres.
- The night life is very soothing and enjoyable
Dislikes
- There's nothing much to dislike other than if you don't like bengli food.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fee for one sem is a lakh. Including mess and hostel fees, total adds upto 1.5 lakhs. There are a lot of scholarship, one major is tution fee waiver which waives off two third of tution fee if your family annual income is below five lakhs.
Likes
- It has very good environment and a good network.
- College life helps me to becoming a extrovert.
Dislikes
- 75 percent attendance criteria is very bad.
- Faculty are top notch. But, they lag somewhere in teaching

Total tuition fees for 4 years is approximately 12 lakh only . For, scholarship you have to fill form in your erp portal. you have to fulfill the required conditions for getting scholarships and they also give scholarship on the basis of income and category.

Regarding the fee structure , for the first semester it is the same for all the students .But it varies from the second semester according to the hostel expenses it may decrease or increase .Those details will be sent to every individual. There are several kinds of scholarships for the students based on their financial position,parents job etc..

- It is biggest campus and mother of all IIT.
- Fests that goes on in our college is very enjoyable
Dislikes
- Mess food is sometimes not good in taste.
- There is nothing outside the campus for refreshment

Cost of study is not high. You will get many scholarships here. Policies are very good. Placements are very good.i feel very proud to study in Indian institute of Technology Kharagpur , west bengal . Many big companies like google and microsoft come here

- Sports facilities of all like badminton, basketball, swimming, volleyball, tennis and many more.

- Distance of studying complex is too far and need to cycle everyday.
- Hostels are not having food of good quality and infrastructure is only good enough.

Fee hike happened in last few years due to independence from government control. But still justified as per facility provided. Scholarship are available for students having economical problem . Financial assistance is also provided .

- The placements are good enough in IITs, with a high placement percentage.
- Vibrant culture here, exposes the student in different directions, for a complete development.
Dislikes
- Entrance exam is only merit based and not on other soft skills.
- Huge campus needs a lot of travelling from one place to another.

The fee structure at our IIT is reasonable, considering the high-quality education provided. However, there is a periodic hike in fees, following a transparent policy that accounts for inflation and enhanced facilities. The cost to study includes tuition, accommodation, and other miscellaneous expenses. Opportunities for financial assistance are abundant. I didn't avail any scholarship, awarded based on academic performance. Additionally, there are various merit and need-based scholarships available, promoting inclusivity. Campus jobs are accessible, providing students with opportunities to gain practical experience while earning a stipend. Overall, the institute is committed to facilitating a conducive learning environment by offering financial support options and campus job opportunities for its students.

- Academic load of our college is very less compare to other colleges
Dislikes
- This year decrement in placements of my branch
- Girls vs boys ratio is very less approx 7:1
Fees and Financial Aid:
Institute fees for 1st year is 1 lach but when your father income is less than 1 lach then your applied Institute fees goes to zero and also according the family income your fees will be reduced Here opportunity for scholarship is very good beacuse you will be able to get email of scholarship from college centre.

- It is too big campus travelling from some place to othere takes time
- Infrastructure is old they should change it

There is no fee hike the fee is constant i have joined in civil department for 4 year and total fee is 12 lakh and there are lot of scholarships provided for students who can't afford this much fee the college is tied up with sbi bank to probide best scholarships

- The various number of social clubs available for students to join and to learn not only about acads but also the society
Dislikes
- The Campus is isolated and located in a far away place
- The food provided in the hostels is not that good

The fees for a non reservation student like me is pretty high even though considered it the government college The course fee per semester is around 100000 and the hall(hostel) fees are around 40000 I am still in the first year of the course There are no part time jobs in the college

Dislikes
- Not even close to a big city, missed out many benefits of a city.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees structure is higher than other government colleges but lower than most private colleges or foreign universities. There are ample opportunities for scholarships and financial asistance on campus. Campus jobs are not prevalent.
