There are many engineering course sin IIT Kharagpur such as B.Tech and M.tech . There are around 20 courses in BTech. For the first year all the students are confined to same course irrespective of their department . From the second year , exactly the core subject will start. Not only the academics , but also the environment is quite friendly to explore.

There are many opportunities for the internships. There are various companies provide internships to the students. Their will be a summer break for students which can help them for their short time internships.

The placements are quite good in the Campus.The students are eligible for placements at the end of 3rd year if they are from B.Tech .They are many top recruiters for the college like Apple,Airbus , Lenovo , Microsoft, Google ,Aditya Birla group etc..

Regarding the fee structure , for the first semester it is the same for all the students .But it varies from the second semester according to the hostel expenses it may decrease or increase .Those details will be sent to every individual. There are several kinds of scholarships for the students based on their financial position,parents job etc..

My campus have a lots of places to explore ,enjoy and participate in several things.Campus is full of greenery, lot of place to chit-chat with friends ,some interesting places to explore.There is a India's biggest technical fest like Kshitij,Cultural fest like Spring fest and Shourya, which is a sports fest . There are many other fests within the Campus. There will be InterIIT across all IITs . There are many sports, clubs and societies to participate for the students , which benefits the students.

Every student is provided with hostels within the Campus. We are supposed to decide which hall we can choose, they will allot the halls to us . We can't change that . Every year the halls will change. Mess quality is not that bad.The mess food is different for vegetarians and non vegetarians .

For the admission in IIT Kharagpur, I have written the competitive exams like JEE Mains and JEE Advance. For writing this exams the eligibility is to clear 75% score in Intermediate boards. Then for the eligibility in JEE advanced, need to clear the JEE mains first.Then according to the rank we get,we need to apply for the colleges through Josaa Counselling for IITs or NITs . There are separate seats for the reservation and those are filled by the respected people itself.Both the exams I have written are very difficult and based on time management, it depends on the student how he/she choose to solve those questions in the stipulated time.
