Infrastructure is beautiful the campus is full or nature upes has really kept students friendly campus they have foowers and trees and not very much building which will ruin the campus vibe also they have uoes sponsored store which is run by the stud
The place it is situated like around mountains and its so relaxing because when being tired of college and it's hectic you can just relax near by because its so beautiful and i hope the more hostels and everything doesn't ruin the view and all i hope
Life at campus is good clubs and everything are pretty good but it can be a lot and a lot better for real but again its better than most of the colleges and clubs related events and good and upes supports it so much and it also has students engagemen
Dislikes
Exposure to substance abuse should be controlled it's literally out of control in upes i think they are aware of it but it's out of the campus so they are bound but yeah that's smtg i hate but they don't have any such thing in camous they are strict
They should have a heavy budget fests and arrangements because there is only one college organized fest which is once a year others are students plan which doesn't match the college fest standards also its relaxing because colkege could be hectic
They should improve design building sometimes it feels neglected idk why but they could do much better and there is no active design club which just pisses me off but i hope they do it in the future
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
In 3 rd year students geet internship upes tries to bring paid internships which are beneficial and from 6th semester students are eligible for placements but there was an external case last or a year before were a students was hired from 2 nd year by adidas for like 50 lakhs per annum which is very good package in design according to me and i think 70 percent students gets the placements they can improve very much in design
I liked the extra curricular part of our college, the college does support your other talents
The music fests, sports fests and other fests were really enjoyable.
Overall beauty of the campus, its among the mountains.
Dislikes
Student parking space is messed up, its far away from the campus and very unorganised.
There is no ac in the classroom, classes during summer are hell.
The quality of food is very poor and the washrooms are not clean enough.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is creative and being a creative person myself, I wanted to dive in this field. Plus design in the modern world is a much required job in every aspect. The only negative point i felt, unlike other courses the assignments here were tough and compulsory.
The college aesthetics are good every building has a greyish black color which makes the buildings look premium
The food inside the college campus is good we have 3 cafes inside and a big food court also we have dominos rught above the food court
Dislikes
Huge campus makes us tired of walking and our classes are scheduled in different blocks which makes us even more tired
The food is good but a little expensive inside the campus
The weather is good but it is unpredictable thats why we always carry an umbrella for sudden showers
Placement Experience:
The placements here are average I'll tell u the truth there nothing to lie about UPES is a private university so u cannot expect a too high amount of package unless you're the lucky one
Here the average package varies from 8 LPA to 12 LPA which is ok
And if i dont get the placement here there's nothing to worry about I'll try different methods to find a job or I'll just start a startup with my father
There are many opportunities to grab upon in terms of academics and extracurricular.
Girls and boys ratio almost equal in design
Really life the campus infrastructure and the the overall greenery
Dislikes
I don't like management over here in different things like fests and all
Didn't like the medical services over here. The infirmary acts as a coorparate work. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Sometimes there is communication gap between teachers and students
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is okay. As a design student you have to find placements on your own. Big companies like tata,Infosys, bina etch .come.My plan is to either study further or take a job as to gain experience.
College attracts youth towards it because of its location and amenities
The college have a very accountable staff and knowledge teachers
Dislikes
Most of the time ground remain wet here not proper maintenance

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have choosen this course because I want to peruse designing.
UPES provides student internships to prepare them of real-world.
This college also organises seminar, workshop and competitions regarding my course
I really liked the campus, it has a really good and well designed layout with all the facilities that are required and more
The size of the classes and the flexibility is really good
Dislikes
The communication between teachers and students is not good at all
The number of events and how they organize it is very poor
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course had some of the best faculty for the fees and the course here has only a little of real world applications but they make fundamentals really strong they could remove foundation year where everyone has the same subjects and focus on specialization from the very beginning and the exams are a little too frequent and a lot of work pressure is their so it gets difficult to do everything
No compromise in facilities and labs, free access to world class machines and softwares is provided by the college
University is tucked away from the city noises between beautiful mountains surrounded by forests and small villages
Faculties have a robust experience in their respective fields and well known for their works
Dislikes
Lack of coordination and communication between different departments within the university
Course Curriculum Overview:
The freedom to be as creative as I can be is the one thing that attracted me to pursue this course while learning I realize that the course itself will provide you with the outline of what is needed and going on in the industry but it's completely up to the student how well he or she wants to prepare themselves for the industry. But I think our course could include the latest developments in the industry highlighting the challenges and opportunities in the current era. We dont have exams in design, we have juries and exhibitions where we have to present our works and get hands-on review
The infrastructure & all the necessary equipments & labs are there
The faculties are highly qualified. they are PHDs or IITs passouts.
The batch size is approximate which doesn't create more crowd per batch.
Dislikes
Management system of the university in general is poor
Transportation facility & connectivity is not good
The food in the campus hostel is not that good.
Placement Experience:
Being a Private College, placement are offered but the package is not up to the mark.
The fees is preety high but the placements are not.
Also placement is not 100% especially for School of Design. Hence most of the students don't go for on campus placements.
From the second semester of the third year, a student becomes eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that have a tie-up with upes and new companies also join in so it is hard to keep a track of all of them.
Our college also offers student exchange programs.
There were many offers and excellent if i mention correctly.
The average package was for 2.5L and the maximum package was 10L.
A student should have a minimum of 80% in jury and 70% in attendance.
I plan to work in a company for atleast two years to gather some experience in the industry and then go for a master's.
Campus placements are up to 80 percent per course which is very high. Overall placements are good. Job offers are in Good amounts. Big Companies like BYJUs, TCS and L&T are major recruiters.
