UPES dehradun

I was interested in art since my childhood everyone in my family praised me for that but for some reason i was going for engineering first but when had a deep convo with my father he said " do whatever u feel like" and then i did a research on the course named B.des (bachelor's of design) and I went for it. In today's world design is everywhere, everything needs a design from a huge aircraft to a small paper boat everything needs a design so its practical for me atleast. I wont recommend any teaching methods improvement coz everything here works fine. Also we dont have exams we have jury in which every faculty judges our work and what we have done in a full semester and it always happens at the end of the semester.

The placements here are average I'll tell u the truth there nothing to lie about UPES is a private university so u cannot expect a too high amount of package unless you're the lucky one Here the average package varies from 8 LPA to 12 LPA which is ok And if i dont get the placement here there's nothing to worry about I'll try different methods to find a job or I'll just start a startup with my father

1st semester - 149000 2nd semester - 149000 3rd semester - 158000 4th semester - 158000 5th semester - 167000 6th semester - 167000 7th semester - 176000 8th semester - 176000 All of my batch mates have the same fees structure. Its a bit expensive but everything is available every utility important things which we need for our course the college provides it.

Everything here is good my batch mates and people from other batches are great they are very open-minded and they love to interact with everyone I can easily make friends here Also, there are different clubs here and different events designed every month so lots of opportunities now.

I applied for many private colleges and one government college which was NID (National Institute of Design) which is one of the top colleges for design but unfortunately i wasnt able to clear the exam so i went for UPES dehradun mainly because of the mountains and aesthetics and the weather because rest of the private colleges didn't have anything special and that would've been boring so yeah.

the faculty here is good they have a lot of experience in their work and the faculty-to-student ratio is average its like there are 6 teachers for 6 batches which is good and they also focus on individual students with no partiality. Some of them are very but some of them are strict too I won't take the names but yeah there's one teacher no one likes her coz she's too strict.
