Likes
- They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
- *there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
- There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.
Dislikes
- The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
- The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
- On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

If i say it clearly. You can apply for internships even after 1st year or semester but what really matters is time if you are dedicated for that the please do it But ideally you are applicable for on campus internships from 3rd year. After my bTech degree i am planning to pursue MTech in EE

- Lush green campus, expert professors and quality education.
- Furnished hostel rooms, moderate food quality.
- Junior friendly campus, has many ammenities.
Dislikes
- Quite far from Agartala main city (15 kms)
- Slightly less startup and entrepreneur oportunities
- Hectic schedule of classes and less free time.
Placement Experience:
Every year placements happen and about 80 percent of the total students of the institute get placed in various dream tier and other companies with good packages. The packages depend on year to year, more specifically on hiring trends. I still did not make a decision for my post degree plans.

- affordable hostel fee, i.e. 30k, which i think is ok for 4 months(1 sem = 4 months)
- roads connects all the places in the campus
- sports complex have is huge area, enough for all

- poor electricity supply during rainy seasons
- administration takes too long time to review, fix or maintain things
Placement Experience:
As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

- As companies came here .so on campus placement become easy
- Library are very large soo there is no shortage as in exam time maximum student use library .still some places left
Dislikes
- The electricity is very poora here..even in exam times sometimes electricity gone ..and no backup..in rare condition they give backup for some time
- Hostel food is very poora ,,sometimes its not even edible

Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

- The most important thing about which i liked is campus. the faculties are well experienced . the greenery of thre college is very good.
Dislikes
- Mess food is avg of the college. And the room is also not good.
- The worst thing is the distance of the academic building from the hostel.
Placement Experience:
After 3rd year or 4th year students become eligible for placements. There are many companies come here like tcs, Paypal, ONGC etc. Above 70% students are well placed. I wish to sit in placement after btech

- Campus greenery, sports facilities is very good , hostel foods are average , teachers are interactive
- College there is lots of club in you can join and got some expose like some of students are doesn't have good background other curricular activities so you can improve your skills here the best club in my opinion is MUNSOC the debate club
- Hostel is very good in if you are in first year and 4th year because they get the RNT hostel and this hostel is very beautiful and Aryabhatta is also there but this very old
Dislikes
- Here if you want to eat veg food outside the campus or in the campus other than the mess food it is not good so veg student have very bad condition here as I felt and there is no any good canteen here only 2 small Amul parlour like in a small hut
- Water hardness is more so here hairfall related issue is common
- Academic section and the fee management section is needs to improve

From the 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements
Adobe, alteryx, autodesk, AWS, cairn india, caastel, kaleyra, morgan. Stanley, oracle, paypal,tcs,unicys this companies keep coming
As of my department 83 students over 91 are placed

- Beautiful, spacious campus with greenery Students often mention the campus is large, lush with plants, trees and well-maintained gardens.
- well-furnished and functional. The library is praised for its collection, environment, usefulness. Sports facilities are good; there’s a strong sports complex that students enjoy.
- Students appreciate the cultural and technical fests — Moksha (cultural) and Aayam (technical) are especially popular. There are many clubs (technical, cultural) giving opportunities beyond academics.
Dislikes
- Being located in Tripura, it's seen as relatively remote; travelling to/from is harder or more costly. Poor connectivity to major industrial hubs, which reduces chances of industrial visits/internships sometimes.
- Hot and humid weather for a large part of the year is uncomfortable. Some concern about air quality, or general environmental upkeep (dust, “jungle” overgrowth, etc.) in parts of the campus.
- WiFi / internet service in hostels is weak or unreliable. Limited daily data caps (e.g. ~2 GB/day) are considered insufficient for many students’ needs.
Placement Experience:
Placements in NIT Agartala are actually decent, especially for the top branches like CSE, IT, ECE, Mechanical, and Electrical. Every year many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus. The average package is around 7–8 LPA for CSE/ECE, while core branches get slightly lower, and the highest goes up to 40+ LPA in some years.
For other branches like Civil, Chemical, and Production, the placements are a bit lower, but students still manage through campus plus off-campus drives. What I like is that the placement cell is active, and we also get internship opportunities in our 3rd year which help us prepare.

- Things I like about my college is that social interaction is very good. There are many clubs as per your expertise you can join any clubs like dance singing coding buisness, drama , helping poor childrens , picture clicking many more.
- My department faculties are very helpful and cooperative, they help us in everything,there teaching quality is very good aslo my faculty advisor has been selected to top 2% researcher of the world. So faculty is very good.
- My college gives intership opportunities in many IITs and they helps us to get internships at good places and placement at IT sector is Good many companies comes every year. The boy girl ratio is 10:3
Dislikes
- The college need to improve my department labs and should keep vast amount of books for my course and have to improve the mess food
- It sector placement is good but my branch core placement is very less so they have to improve the placement for core branches.
- The things I don't like is that my department is very far from the hostel I need to walk long distance everyday
Placement Experience:
First of all placement in IT sector is Good but core placement is almost no .you have to do higher studies no other options is there if off campus placement is no there. So I suggest if you have interest in biology than you please come to this field

- I liked the college infrastructure the most and the lush green campus .
- I also liked the faculty , labs and course structure of my branch and very easy semester exams.
- I also liked the sports activity and clubs and cultural and societal work done by our college , like giving free education to poor student .
Dislikes
- I mostly disliked the mess food sometimes , because they make it very bad sometimes .
- I also didn't like the classroom because they are low standard and does match the NIT standard .
- I also did not like the partiality that happens with the student who do not have strong connections with the seniors .

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala
- Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
- Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
- Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
- Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
- The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
- The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
- The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.
Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
