As a Biotechnology student experience at NIT Agartala

Biotechnology and Biochemical engineering is so relevant I come to know about virus bacterias drugs drug making process bacteria inoculation, aslo chemical engineering things aslo there if you want to pursue higher studies the course is best for your future research field. You can be a scientist.

Google, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Intel, Capgemini, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, Oracle, and various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like Bharat Petroleum and L&T.Core sector recruiters like Vedanta, Maruti Suzuki, and Ashok Leyland finance ICICI Bank, Amdocs, and Morgan Stanley.

First of all placement in IT sector is Good but core placement is almost no .you have to do higher studies no other options is there if off campus placement is no there. So I suggest if you have interest in biology than you please come to this field

When I get admission I paid 36000 rupees as per my Fee structure It was 17000 for 1st semester and rest of the money is adjusted for next semester as I'm a SC catagory student fee is much low like 6000-7000 per semester including all the fees no extra should be paid during whole semester. My Classmates who are from genaral catagory there are 3 types of fees those who's parents have income above 500000 has to pay 70000-75000 per semester. Who's Family income is less then 500000 and above 100000 they have to pay 30000-32000 per semester. And those family income is less than 100000 they have to pay only 6000-7000 as per SC/ST students give. Means no tution fee is applied. There are many types of Scholarship schemes as per NSP . SC catagory scholarship ST catagory Scholarship Merit Scholarship it is applicable for those who's family income is less than 800000 .

The overall experience is very good. There are mainly two festes one is cultural fest Moksha and technical fest Aayam and other mini programs are always there. There are vast amount of books and we also have a good study area . In class there is projector desktop , video relevant to subjects are there, sports and extra curricular activities of our college is awasome. You have several sports options good sports complex many grounds for playing different types of games , indor games is also there you have chances to go for interNIT games. There are many clubs music, dance, buisness, coding, picture, drama, helping poor childrens, robotics, arts and crafts many clubs are there as per your expertise you can join and it dit not effect your studies it make your mind fresh and keeps you productive

Hostel facility is good A bed a wardrobe, a chair and a table is provided, meal quality is good but should improve, registration process is very easy ar the time of admission you can register for hostel accommodation and very low cost as per rented accomodation hostel is quite better.

First reason is it is in my state and my percentile is low so that it is the only option I have. But after getting addmission my experience is very good I gained too much interest in this course now I want to pursue higher studies.

Faculty students ratio is 10:1. Faculty student relationship is very good teachers are very helpful and cooperative. Biswanath Bhunia and Muthu Siva Rama pandian sir and V.C panvanavam sir they are very helpful they always do new researches and inspire us that's why I like them. They are best . I like every faculties they are no one that you dislike all are very helpful. There are mainly two exams Mid Term and End Term .Mid Term is for 20 marks and End Term is for 50 marks. And before mid term and end term class tests will taken .Not that much hard if you study you will pass it so easily. The lab exam is taken before mid term and you have to submit a lab copy for all the experiments .

Gyms are there for both girls and boys girls Gym is in the hostel premises you can go when ever you want , the timing for girls in hostel 7.30pm librery closed ar 8pm open on 6 am . Boys have no timings for hostel . But campus timing is 10.00 pm . The locality is very safe they are helpful college is very big there are many places for hanging out parks are there . shoping complex is there good resturent and affordable. Night life of college is aslo very good full of lights
