The mechanical engineering curriculum is well structured, Covering core subject like thermo, fluid mechanics, machine drawing along with labs it prepared students for industry and as well as for higher studies

Internships Opportunities

3

As in the third year many reputed companies visit the college for internships such as cisco, fractal, accenture and others. These internship usually last for two months. In cisco the stipend offers is around 2 lakhs for two months.

Placement Experience

3

From the 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements Adobe, alteryx, autodesk, AWS, cairn india, caastel, kaleyra, morgan. Stanley, oracle, paypal, tcs, unicys this companies keep coming As of my department 83 students over 91 are placed My plans after completing degree is doing job

Fees and Financial Aid

As I'm from the obc category and my family income is less than 1 lakh so I get a fee waiver and hence my fee structure is different from others who paid the complete fee. Fee structure after fee waiver in this fee structure there is only tution fee, caution money, registration fee and other fee tution fee is not included as my tution fee is waivered but tution fee for the students who doesn't get the fee waiver is 62500.00 per semester so for the exact fee structure of that type of student who doesn't get the fee waiver you include in the given below per semester fee-> 1st sem-> 17125.00 2nd sem-> 9425.00 3rd sem-> 6625.00 4th sem-> 5425.00 5th sem-> 6625.00 6th sem-> 5425.00 7th sem-> 7625.00 8th sem-> 9375.00 Scholarship are:- NSP, SIEMENS,RELIANCE,FFE etc.

Campus Life

4

Annual fest is MOKSHA and techfest is AAYAM there is a big library in the campus having enough book for every subject and literature and novels are also there Classrooms are depends on the building that in which building your classes is going on like science block classes are not good but in the cse and a new freshers building which is started this year for the first year are having very good classes. Here lost of club are there like munsoac, wee can, spic macay and many more

Hostel Facilities

4

Two bed as this is double accomodation, tubelights , fan , covered, Food is average, quality is good. Hostel Registration forms are to be filled by students and after that one hostel fee reciept we have to submit at supervisor office then hostel is alloted You can't rent pg here as it is far away from city although people live neer the college but not many

Admission

As this is the institute of national importance it has many pros I chose because the infrastructure is very good than other colleges and the main reason I prefer this college because of the placement percentage in my department that is very good like 93 percent placement every year as the average package is around 7 lpa that because the in the core fields the sallary growth is slow not that much as freshers . Talking about the Admission it is simple like all the colleges it give admission through jee mains

Faculty

4

1.The faculty and students ratio is very good and they are easily approachable 2.In my department there is machine drawing teacher I like him most his name is( Dr. ravivarman r )sir he is very strict but his teaching method is very good. 3.There is midterm and end term two exams in every semester and exams are moderate some of question are actually tough depending on the faculty that which faculty is made the paper.

Night Life

4

Gym facilities is good as there is India's biggest sports complex atal bihari Vajpayee sports complex. Library closed at 5pm but the reading are is open to 10 pm For boys hostel in timing is 10pm and for girls it is 7:30 Night life is good as there is very big campus of 367 acres you can roam whole the campus at the night with your friends

Placements in NIT Agartala are actually decent, especially for the top branches like CSE, IT, ECE, Mechanical, and Electrical. Every year many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus. The average package is around 7–8 LPA for CSE/ECE, while core branches get slightly lower, and the highest goes up to 40+ LPA in some years. For other branches like Civil, Chemical, and Production, the placements are a bit lower, but students still manage through campus plus off-campus drives. What I like is that the placement cell is active, and we also get internship opportunities in our 3rd year which help us prepare.
