SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The faculty was really good. The majority of the lecturers were MSc graduates. They are very well trained by the administration. Exams will be conducted for 3 months once. We will have both internals and externals namely called mid and sem.

As I heard from the seniors getting placements is very simple to focus on your skills more than anything also cgpa is very important in any college a lot of companies visit during the placement like tata, contingent, Microsoft, Wipro, and Deolite.

The students are eligible for campus placement after the 5th semester. Afternoon completed 4th semester and the students coming to study the 5th semester are eligible to attend campus placement. There are some companies visited, they are- Wipro, TCS, Zoho, Infosys, techno like big companies and etc, the students want to get above 70 percent for placements. After getting my degree, I want to work at TCS company.

I selected this course for my interest and I have more interest in learning computer courses. Faculty present on the college College campus are well-trained and directly chosen by the principal so well-qualified teachers are selected to increase the knowledge of the students. The student ratio is seen at a High level due to the good fame of the college. The qualification of the faculty is after completing the B.Ed. courses and with some extra courses. The teaching method of the faculty are well good and the teachers teach easily so that the student could easily understand the concept without any confusion the students should question the concept so that the students can gain knowledge. The internals will be conducted monthly and the externals are conducted six months once and the students should get 50% marks to pass it will be somewhat difficult to pass but if we understand the concept and study with continuous hard work we can easily pass the exams.

From the last semester, students are eligible for placement. There are around 5 to 27 companies we can visit for placement and jobs. The highest salary is 20 to 25 k starting and the average salary is 14k for each. 90% of students got placed. After this, I want to do another course too.

They will guide the students for campus interviews they will help all the students to get good jobs for their future. After completing college they will get good jobs and salaries for their future. Students can get jobs Abroad also.

The examination is good there. Exams are too easy. The teaching method and professors are excellent. And good unique rules are provided by them. I chose this college because of to reduce travelling time. I choose this course for I'm interested in physics

Students once got entered into their 4th semester they are eligible for placements and internships. CISCO, Amazon, DBS, etc,. are the companies visited and made many offers. 90% of students are placed in their preferred companies.

No stress or pressure of studies. Availability of posh flats around campus. Anti bully and discrimination forum ensures safe and sound environment in the campus. The campus is huge, clean and green. Students get an opportunity to see shooting of various South Indian films. Teachers are friendly but lazy at the same time. Students have to keep pushing teachers to get the work done. Payment and transaction procedure is slow. Girls hostels are strict and have fixed timings to enter inside or go out. Boys hostels are linient and has no time restriction. Wardens are helping but have a habit for disturbing students now and then. Food is tasty and hygienic and no student is allowed to waste food. Attendance is compulsory both in hostel and class. Medical facilities are good. Free for hostelers and charged for outside students. SRM is famous for its placements and highly paid jobs.

Top MNC companies comes for Placements. The Placements happen only on the main campus. Students will go to the main campus and attend the Interview. SRM provides Placement training before the Interview. you must maintain at least 7/10 CGPA to enter into a good Firm.
