SRMIST DM Gastroenterology FAQs
Ques. What is the difference between MD General Medicine and DM Medical Gastroenterology?
Ans. MD (Doctor of Medicine) in General Medicine is a 3-year broad specialty program providing general medical training. DM Medical Gastroenterology provides specialized, in-depth training exclusively in gastrointestinal disease management, endoscopic procedures, and hepatology, making it significantly more specialized than MD.
