Experienced faculty that are in the college
Fests that are conducting in the campus and also sports
A peaceful nature with lot of trees is useful to study

Dislikes

Hostel beds are not good to sleep and bathrooms

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students can attend the campus selections and also get campus placements. The companies that are collaborating with this college are Flipkart, TCS, Amazon, Tata, etc. The percentage of getting placements is 85 to 90. I wanted to study higher studies.

Review about INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY

Likes

The environment of the campus and nature of the surroundings.
There will be a well experienced person to train you.
After finishing 4 year's you will be a disciplined person.

Dislikes

Daily physical education will be there .
The outing pass will be provided very rare in occasion.
No more about the negative comments in the campus.

Placement Experience:

The girl cadets will get placement in 2nd year and for male cadets the placement starts at 3rd year and IMU HAS 80%placement ratio in past years.The students want to be in a good rank position for good placement.I am going to enjoy my sea life after getting placement in good company.

Review On Life In TMI

Likes

Infrastructure was the best in the whole state.
Disciplined life for all the cadets is mandatory
Placement is alright if you keep up the work.

Dislikes

Faculty is aright but some can be annoying sometimes..
Course syllabus is kinda too much sometimes.
Campus life can be hectic and stressful for normal people.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to become a mariner. Faculty memebers can vary based on there nature but all are helpul to teach you if you request and ask kindly. Most of the faculty have written 4-5 books here so they must be qualified enough to teach. Term exams are every semister and are difficult but are not impossible to pass. Passing is easy but getting good marks is tough.

Life at tolani

Likes

Uniform is very nice proper turn out to be followed.
Dummy ship is present in campus things get simpler
Sports event are conducted on daily basis.

Dislikes

Morning PT really I don’t like in this campus
Study is very tough only take admission if you study well
Not getting proper sleep to hectic. Schedule.

Placement Experience:

Placement does happen, nice companies are visiting every semester. For B.Sc. nautical science 100% placement, Whereas to be honest for B.Tech marine engineering 95% placement if not getting placed till 4th-year college will help us.

Placement given by college is extraordinary than what we are thinking
Coaching and training given by the faculty is ridiculous

Placement Experience:

Placements are available for the cadets at any time of their training time. In my batch, almost 90% of students are placed at good companies at various times. Most probably all the students will get their Placement during their course time.

Accommodation and hostel and the food in our mess are of standard quality
Mess, Canteen and mess food is good and can be changee with our choice if needed

Groupism in between cadets sometime according to the place they come from

I like traveling in ships And adventure life and it's my passion. The faculty ratio was 1:4 with students. Everyone is We knowledge and has sailing experience with huge knowledge. There are 2 times for the year and its too difficult to pass.
