About MANET
Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET), Pune is one of the best Naval training institutes approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, India. MANET is affiliated to MIT ADT University, Pune. The institute was established in the year 2001. It provides assistance in two Naval courses, B. Tech Marine Engineering, and B. Sc Naval Science.

MANET Pune Admission
Admissions to the Naval Sciences courses are based on the merit rank of the IMU CET entrance exam. The candidates for both B.Tech and B.Sc. courses are selected on the medical exams and relevant selection criteria.
How to Apply?
The aspirants looking for getting admission at MANET can follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Step 1: Visit the official website and fill out the application form.
- Step 2: Pay the application fee of INR 1000/-
- Step 3: Shortlisting of the candidates are called at MANET campus for document verification and Interview.
- Step 4: The shortlisted candidate from the above step proceeds for DG Reference No. and INDoS Registration.
- Step 5: After the final counselling, the candidate need to pay the admission fee to confirm the admission.
Note 1: Shortlisting is done on the basis of the PCM marks and Medical fitness as per the DGS norms.

MANET Pune Facilities
The institute ensures trouble-free stay of the student during the course and provides the following facilities:
- Hostel: The college has two separate hostels of girls and boys. The hostel has recreation centers, indoor play areas, T.V screens, and Wi-Fi and laundry facility available for the student.
- Mess: The institution has a mess inside the hostel that provides nutritious and healthy food to the students.
- Library: The college has a well-equipped library with nearly 8198 reference and resource journals for B.Tech students and 1863 references and resources for B.Sc students. It has an indoor seating arrangement with a capacity of 110. It is open for the students from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Gymnasium: The institution focuses on the physical well being of the students and hence has two gymnasiums with high-quality types of equipment and well-trained instructors.

I got admission as part of COVID procedures which were less stringent but I had to attend an Interview before the admission Students should mandatorily appear for the IMUCET examination with a recognizable rank..Low ranks are not tolerated Students should mandatorily have marks above 60% in PCM and 50% in English Only students who opted Science background( PCM OR PCMB) can apply for admission

In my case I am a diploma holder in mechanical engineering with 79% of cgpa. You can join it after 12th science also it takes 65% of the and with good English. IMU CET exam is conducted every year for the admissions and college own exam are also conducted

Till now addmision process is,same as before after filling the form you have to give manetcet exam then they will select you among all the students who gave the exams and then they will take a,mock interview on the basis of that they will select you .

- I like the overall teaching facilities provided, the faculty and staff, the syllabus curriculum and the academic building amenities along with library , labs and students query section.
- The food at the mess is served with hygiene and four times a day.
Dislikes
- The abundant change in the fees structure which affects financial state of the students' families at the end
- The food in the mess should stick to the schedule which which help students to know the menu prior going to the mess
Admission:
The admission process was quite simple. I had to register and fill out an online form on the college's official website with all the necessary details. An interview was conducted online and after a few days, I got an admission letter from the college for securing my seat. the provisional admission seat was secured by me by paying Rs 50k.

- Collage location is near railway track, so some noise is there
- As the collage is private, the fees of collage is little higher
