MANET Pune B.Tech And B.Sc Admission 2024
Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training, Pune offers B.Tech degree in Marine Engineering and B.Sc in Nautical Science at the undergraduate level.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics(PCM) and; at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII to be eligible to apply.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to have a valid passport while takin admission into the program.
- Selection is done on the basis of MANET CET (PERA) ot IMU CET scores.
- PERA CET is a 2 hour test with multiple-choice Questions covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, General Knowledge and English grammar. For final selection, performance in 10+2 examination, medical test taken by Medical Practitioner and Personal Interview shall be considered.

Key Points for Admission:
- Total 200 seats are available for admission to B.Tech. Degree Course and 120 for B.Sc.
- Lateral entry admission will be offered only if there is an availability of seats in B.Tech. Degree Course.
- Only unmarried applicants are eligible to apply.
- The Upper age limit for admission relaxed for SC/ST candidates by 5-year.
- Candidates must be less than 25 years, as on August 1 of the year of admission.
MANET Pune Lateral Entry B.Tech Admission 2024
The institute also offers lateral entry in the second year of B.Tech Marine Engineering. Candidates must have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in Mechanical/ Marine/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum aggregate marks of 55%. Students must have also completed Degree/ Diploma with at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
