My life in IIT Madras

Fee Structure And Facilities:

12 lakh was my total fee for 2 years with the fee has to be paid in instalments with online mode is also available. Scholarships are provided with some of them being Merit cum means scholarship provided to students with family income less than 4.5 lakh, Girish Reddy scholarship, given on the basis of entrance level exam scores with family income not exceeding beyond 5 lakh. Indian Women's Association at Bonn Scholarship, Sri V Ranga Raju Memorial scholarship, Kanchi Kamakoti Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Endowment Award being some of the prominent scholarships provided.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

INR 12 Lacs is the total fee IIT Madras charges from the Students of EMBA programme. The fee was divided into three equal shifts of INR 3 Lac each and I think the fee was quite decent as it was comparable to some well known IIM'S of the country . There was availability of reservation based concessions at IIT- M.

IIT Madras EMBA or Executive MBA is designed specifically for mid-career working professionals looking to learn new skills and improve their chances of getting promoted to higher positions. IIT Madras EMBA course duration is 2 years. The classes are conducted on every alternate weekend in an offline mode.

The total fee for IIT Madras EMBA course is INR 17 lakhs. You can also pay a per semester fee of INR 4.25 lakhs for 4 semesters. To be eligible for the program, candidates are required to possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 60% or marks. They are also required to have 3 years of work experience.

Online application for the program will begin in September 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be screened during the 1st week of November through a written test and an interview. Results will be posted in December 2024 and the classes will commence from January 2025.

IIT Madras B.Tech. CSE (Computer Science Engineering) is considered as the best B.Tech. specialisation. This is due to:

B.Tech. CSE has highest cutoff rank around 144-148 which shows its popularity among other branches and higher competition.
Most of the placements in IIT Madras are conducted from the B.Tech. CSE Specialisation.
