For anyone who wants to pursue higher Study from top class institutes, IIT Madras is the best choice whether MBA oR BTech it is the ideal place for all students. The institute was ranked at the top in overall 2020 rankings of NIRF. There are various student exchange programmes also in which students get to learn as per the top international standards. Admissions to the institute for EMBA are based on the score in previous academic standards, entrance, personal interview, group exercise and also checking the work experience
Course Curriculum Overview
As I did my BTech in Information Technology so I decided to do my MBA- Executive course in IT & Systems field. The course is spreaded in 4 semesters of 2 years and I think there were experts of all different management domains which helped us to learn about all such fields in equally good manners. It was a great experience to participate in the academic conferences and Competitions also
Internships Opportunities
Anyone who wants to gain exceptional knowledge and move further in the competitive corporate environment, the Internship opportunities can work as a great experience because of the learnings it offers helping them to get better skills.
Placement Experience
Our Executive course was able to have decent packages during 2020 placements and nearly half of the total offers were provided under Analytics. The top salary for the batch was INR 30 LPA with the top visitors of the drive being Mahindra, HCL, Infosys, Titan, Accenture, Tata Group and Flipkart.
Fee Structure And Facilities
INR 12 Lacs is the total fee IIT Madras charges from the Students of EMBA programme. The fee was divided into three equal shifts of INR 3 Lac each and I think the fee was quite decent as it was comparable to some well known IIM'S of the country . There was availability of reservation based concessions at IIT- M.
Campus Life
My Executive course would surely have been incompleted without the campus life and I can't even think about it because it really took the experience to a greater level. Top events of IIT Madras are ICON, Tech fest,Mechanica and Samanvay and I also used to compete in the sports. The best thing for me was the library of our college due to its content diverseness. The institute also had a variety of clubs and committies for its students covering academic as well as co-curricular things.
Hostel Facilities
At first I didn't knew much about the importance of hostel accommodation but with the passage of time I got to work in pretty hectic schedule and at that time I really used be thankful that I am having the best of hostel facilities. The institute really gave it's best so that students can get the best output from their academic stint with this institution and eventually I was also able to get such an experience.
Admission
The institute had different admissions processes for management and technical courses as the engineering admissions were based entirely on JOSAA while for admissions to the EMBA programme a number of factors such as ; CAT/GMAT score, academic profile, Interview performance and the performance of group discussion are checked.
