- The college has opportunities of scholarships for students have family income less than 10 lakhs and the college is great helper in these cases
- Computer engineering students enjoy excellent placement opportunities, whereas for other branch students, there are fewer companies specifically in the core biotechnology sector.
- The campus infrastructure is one of the best thing, it's pretty, filled with beautiful buildings, comfortable classes fully air conditioned, greenery all around sports complex running lanes, during winters and autumn the weather is so pleasant here.

- I understand that there is a placement cell available here, but recently, the placements have not been very good.

- Faculties. They behave politely and are very well trained.

- Morning classes. I prefer to work in the evening.
- Fares that rickshaw drivers ask who are outside of the college.
- In time is very early. I think it'd be more helpful if it were a bit late.

- Lenient attendance ( the attendance policy is not very strict compared to other colleges)
- The faculty ( the faculty is very good and supportive)

- Attendance policy ( as the attendance is linent in kost subjects many students dont attend classes at all)
- Hostel in time - the hostel in time is 8 30 which should be increased
- Mess food - the mess food quality should be improved

- Nava Nalanda library is very nice. As i previously mentioned that here you can get lot of books and space for study
- Hostel rooms are good. In hostel table tennis room , gym and self study rooms are also present
- Classrooms are very nice . Charging ports are available which is very good thing

- Sone seats in the class are not good which also irritate me
- Faculty members who are not good in teaching are responsible for the bad marks in that subject
- For some students it may be a issue that you have to walk around 1 km to reach classes

- The communities and clubs made by students in almost every genre.
- The campus environment and cleanliness with greenery.

- The fees is a bit surplus for the middle classed but the placement is good.
- There's 75% attendance policy which a lot of students are not very fond of.
- The reservation system makes almost half the seats to occupied for home state students.

What is your review of Thapar University(Patiala)?
Thapar University has a brand name, however, the ground reality for this university is not very pleasant and it is swiftly losing the qualities that defined it in its glorious past. The rankings of students enrolled in the university are going down each year. The administration is taking serious measures against the same, however, because of these measures the other students are suffering. One example is the strict entry and exit timings.
Academically, your experience in this institution will differ according to your branch. The CSE branch has a cooperative faculty and lenient attendance criteria. This is not the case for other branches. In other branches, some faculty members may hold personal grudges against you while some may fail you for missing the required attendance mark (75%) by as small as 0.1%. The mess is below average and the classrooms are not very impressive. The administration is very slow.
However, there are positive points about Thapar University as well. The alumni from Thapar are placed in some of the best companies in India and abroad. It has some of the best synthetic courts in any engineering college in India. There are many teachers at Thapar University who serve as a source of inspiration to their students. Sports facilities for all the major sports are great. Placements at Thapar University are great and the labs are well updated. Even though Thapar is facing a drug problem, its teachers and administration are very active in trying to solve this issue.
Thus, even though Thapar University has outlived its glorious days, it has some positive points too. It is completely your choice whether or not you wish to take admission into it.

Thapar University has better placements than most private colleges and NITs. But the problem is, placements here directly depend on the grades of the students, and only the serious ones who work hard to build their profile bag the best packages.
Now the reviews of students are mixed because not everyone invests the same efforts and bags high packages. The people giving bad reviews are the ones who did not build their resumes well.
The best thing about Thapar University is the level of freedom you get to experience here. However, the increasing intake is slowly deteriorating the student quality so you might want to consider this before joining.
